We will never know if Sue Lowden would have defeated Reid.
But we know for sure Reid defeated Angle.
As much as I personally wanted Angle to win, being a stark roving realist, Nevada is not ready for some one like Angle. The election proved it conclusively.
What Nevada proved is:
1. that if you have the Unions in your pocket, you can win ANY election in Nevada.
2. that if you can buy enough votes you can win any election in Nevada.
3. that if you can find enough illegal aliens and get their votes counted you can win any election in Nevada.
4. that if the national Republican party refuses to back their Senate Candidate while the national Democrat party and their special interests pour tens of millions of dollars into “dingy Harry’s” campaign you can win any election in Nevada.
5. that if the national Republican Pundits gripe and moan about the “quality” of the Tea Party candidates while the Leftist Mainstream Media plays cheerleader for “dingy Harry” continuously on a feedback loop, you can win any election in Nevada.
6. that if your opponent spends more money on impossible to win Senate seats like California than on obtainable Senate Seats like Colorado, Washington or NEVADA, you can win win any election in Nevada.
7. that if the primary braintrusts who control the funds and the strategies to defeat Democrats are the Republican National Committee (RNC) or the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), you can win any election in Nevada!
If it hadn’t been for the Tea Parties and the individual, independent Conservatives and individual Republicans who gove to candidates directly and bypassed these MORONS at the RNC and NRSC, there’s NO WAY IN HADES we’d have gotten the SIX Senate seats we HAVE gotten (or FIVE, if Murkowski wins in Alaska — because ultimately she will caucus with Democrats or RINO’s — same difference in the end.
