During a morning meeting with congressional leaders from both parties, President Obama acknowledged the philosophical differences between his stimulus package and the Republican plan but, sources familiar with the conversation said, Obama then noted: I won.
But perhaps taking a cue from Obamas I won line when Democrats were asked if they were concerned about Republicans blocking the package, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had a swift one-word answer: No.
That's a two-way street, Obama. This time, you lost.

They have known what is coming. Tomorrows little shindig before the Bam's split overseas is gonna be a double down and a token olive branch right before he paints the GOP as puppy-killers.
I welcome this, it will piss off the electorate even more.

He will say the voters were angry, that they didn’t understand what he was trying to do, and that they were not patient enough to let it work. He will indicate a willingness to work with Republicans. Then a thank you and exit.
