Ok. I agree. The flaming nutburger should not have gotten bothered by the Secret Service and I am upset that tax dollars were wasted on it.
Here’s my call: It’s rotten to taser a man with a hearing aid. A man with a hearing aid can be talked to, citizen to citizen. And a man with a hearing aid could well have a heart problem, that makes a taser shot fatal.
IOW sounds like stupid thugs.
Because much like fleas on a fine show stud, this grand forum is literally infested with cop-hating Losertarians.
The problem, is, this MAY go beyond the individual LEO’S that came to arrest him.
According to Fitzpatrick, he (note: or his lawyer, or both) were not notified of the hearing.
This happened to me once (non criminal) and it was no big deal, because I had a feeling something was wrong and called the court.
The court had apparently sent a notice to the wrong address.
But what if they did something like this deliberately to set him up?
I don’t know what really happened, as we haven’t heard from the LEO’S side of the story.
Fitzpatrick admits he resisted.(usually a bad idea)
Did he think his life was in danger?
He said they knocked down his door.
Why would they do that?
I would like to have answers, but I don’t think the MSM is carrying the story.
The writer of the article claims she is waiting for more information herself.
Frankly, I’m suspending judgment until I know more about what is really going on.
It does appear that — right or wrong — Fitzpatrick is rattling some cages...
... and the gorillas inside don’t like it.

Wasted tax dollars are the least of my concerns about it. What does it say about the paranoia levels in the WH that they send them out for a nutburger who has made no credible threats? Not even implied threats by any stretch of the imagination.
Oh when and where did THAT become law.
“What does it say about the paranoia levels in the WH that they send them out for a nutburger who has made no credible threats?”
What does it say about them? Words that leap to mind are “paranoid” and kneejerk.”
I’ll never put up with thuggery. Stop condoning thuggery.
How in the world could I have ever given you the impression that I give a rats @$$ what you do, think or say?
You just did, meatball.
I’m done with this thread sweetheart, I leave you to mumble about evil cops and touch yourself.
Enjoy.

“In an astounding and unexpected turn of events, Fitzpatrick discovered that Mr. Gary Pettway, the jury foreman, had served for 20 consecutive years at the judges behest, in violation of TCA 22-2-314.”
That is interesting.
Brings up red flags, yes?
I don’t think it is against the law to serve as foreman on a grand jury for twenty years, but it’s kind of suspicious, (if true) and would seem worthy of investigation.

Such a gentleman!
22-2-314. Limitation on jury service. [Effective in Certain Counties. See the Compilers Notes.]
A juror who has completed a jury service term shall not be summoned to serve another jury service term in any court of this state for a period of twenty-four (24) months following the last day of such service; however, the county legislative body of any county, may, by majority vote, extend the twenty-four-month period.
[Acts 2008, ch. 1159, § 1.]
“Kind of suspicious”?
If true, and it sounds far out there, but sh1t does go on in places — its more than kind of suspicious. It goes against what the grand jury system is all about — to serve as a citizen, non-professional, check on the prosecutor. To serve for 20 years is a kind of inbreeding, and would greatly reduce the citizen check on abuses of power. I’d say that just alone of itself is a certain enough sign of a corrupt process.
“Such a gentleman!”
People go on the attack and when others “punch back” they take their toys and go home.
I wrote a very polite post to him, by the way.

If they did it was in broad daylight.
The county attorneys and other officials — not to mention JUDGES! — MUST have ALL known about this.

MRS. RONDEAU: How are the judges getting away with simply appointing people contrary to the law?CDR. FITZPATRICK: Because theres no oversight here. None. People have been threatened with their lives. There have been attempts on peoples lives because of the kind of information that youre being told right now. This is life-threatening information. Im telling you right now: people are telling me, Walt, stay away from windows get down, be careful Other people have told me that they have come up with this kind of information and they have actually been accosted by police officers. I have been, too. Ive been arrested twice with no charges.
It's called a dynamic entry. They may have had a "no knock" warrant? Or, he wasn't wearing his hearing aid, and didn't hear their faint girlie taps on his door? So, they decided to break in?
I would like to see the warrant. Randy Weaver lost his wife and son when he "missed" a court date. A date he claims he never received. Fitzpatrick claims he never received the court date.
“When a cop pulls out his cuffs you HAVE to put your arms out and shut your mouth.”

One can ask “why am I being arrested?”
One can ask to call one’s attorney... although the police say “you have a right to on attorny” etc. when they read you your “Miranda” rights.
One of those rights, of course, is that you don’t have to(upon interrogation)say ANYTHING to them.
