The horror stories about illegals (and not just Hispanics, btw) that I get from my contacts in law enforcement are hair raising - it's one of the main reasons I went through the process to get a CCW permit in MA and have armed myself.
They essentially have carte blanche to do whatever they want without consequence, all while collecting a check(s), courtesy of the American taxpayer.
Illegal Immigration is issue #1 to me. Think about it, it is effecting everything: national sovereignty, culture, national security, economics. It MUST be stopped and reversed. And we know, it can be done. Now, who has the balls to do it? At some point, when the government doesn't do it's job, the people will.

It will be the number issue in 2012. As you say,it affects everything. The govt can’t ask someone to accept less of anything if they’re letting illegals get annything at all for free.

I live in Philly. And until seven days ago worked at a Home Depot deep in the heart of socialism land. For over four years I often asked myself as I worked each day...am I living in America or south of the border or in Eastern Europe or somewhere.
If I could have a US dollar for the number of times I heard nothing but non-English being yapped about by tons of customers streaming into that store I would be a billionare at this point. Often as these people would be say ripping open a large Circuit Breaker Box open and taking the stuff out of the box to examine it... I would walk up... How can I help you? They stare.... I ask again... sometime they just would stand up and leave...other times they would hand signal they don't speak English.
It was a living nightmare for to long. Of course I'm the guy that had to try to retape the box for resell. If I just had the bucks lost per year in the Electrical Dept. at this location, I would be a millionare over at this point.
The problem is so obvious in so many ways to so many people yet the assholes at all levels, State and Fed continue to let these people stream in and then obtain free health care and a host of other benefits. Yes I finally quite the damn Home Depot. The above was easily fifty percent of the reason I finally got the balls to just leave. I hated the damn place.
In my area especially where I had worked. Yes more and more I noticed trucks being pulled over by police. And you can guess the type of folks that would be sitting on the curbs awaiting their fate. I can only remotely imagine how bad it must be in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and southern Cali..

“Take the needed moneies from the State employee widows fund.”
an EXCELLENT idea!
If the state and fed employees have no interest in enforcing the laws that are on the books, transfer the costs of the programs they DON’T supervise to their pensions! HA! Bet they’s suddenly see the light!

I have insurance and I still get bills like I have none.

Oh yes, I know that feeling. You probably have/had high co-pays too, right? And still got bills for everything, right?
It's akin to going to a restaurant, eating, and getting a check where they not only bill you for the meal, but also the salt, pepper, napkin, glass of water and utensil use. Disgusting. Why bother having insurance - it covers nothing.
I had Aetna, which I was told was the 2nd worst health insurance carrier out there (the first being Harvard Pilgrim - great job, Charlie Baker). In fact, the physical therapy clinic I went to described both carriers as “scumbags” (their term, not mine).
But take comfort in that if a person floats here on a door or walks across a “virtual fence” to illegally enter the good ole USA, everything’s free! No bills for them!!!

I use United HC and try calling them it is a call center overseas. It guts my pay and then they seem to look like they pay but it is like the hospital is tripling costs and I have yet to get the anesthesia bill. I cannot afford it anymore.
