I feel like a salmon swimming against the stream, but I agree with the ban. No electioneering is allowed in the polls. The McMahon name is tied to WWE. I'm sure there are some WWE fans who are liberal and who want the lying, economic moron Blumenthal.
It doesn't logically following that an advocate of WWE is an advocate of McMahon for Senator.
Wearing WWE garb to the polls is not electioneering for McMahon.

STAMFORD, Conn. The right for World Wrestling Entertainment fans to vote was threatened Friday by Connecticut Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz, who gave the authority to local poll workers to determine that if anyone shows up to the polls on November 2 wearing any WWE merchandise, whether it is a John Cena T-shirt or a Randy Orton wristband, they may be forced to go home and change, cover it up, or take it off in order to vote.Denying our fans the right to vote, denying them their First Amendment rights, regardless if they are Democrat, Republican or Independent, is un-American, unconstitutional and blatantly discriminatory, said Vince McMahon, Chairman and CEO of WWE.
Absolutely outrageous. I despise that 'RAT Susan Bysiewicz.

I'm showing up wearing my bright yellow "Don't Tread On Me" t-shirt.
I dare them to try to make me cover up the emblem of America's truly first flag!

Good for you! Another FReeper suggested we leave tea bags behind in the voting booth. What do you think? ;-)

I'm not a WWE fan at all, but this edict by the Connecticut SOS is incredibly spiteful, obviously aimed at Linda McMahon's candidacy for Senate. But it may backfire if it is enforced: my intuition tells me that there are at least as many 'Rats among WWE fans as there are Pubbies.
Seems as if this SOS Bysiewicz is a product of Soros' Secretary of State project. If she is up for re-election, she must be defeated.
Wonder if we'll hear any comment on this from the outgoing GOP governor.

This is ridiculous. There’s never been a dress code for voting. Anti-campaigning laws apply to handing out literature, etc. Never, as far as I know, been applied to individual’s clothing.

Well, the liberals have been loony for ages but they are really going overboard now. Soon we'll have to vote naked!!
Wearing a certain brand of clothing? Does that company support dems or pubs? Where is it going to end?
I'm wearing my rhinestone U.S. Flag when I go to vote. Now, I'm in a conservative area but wonder if something would be said if I were in certain other areas?

I saw (on TV) Obama campaigning today on the west coast -
Lying as usual - He said in a speech that Republicans (not “the Republican administration”) were in power through 2009 -
Knowing many dummies would not even realize that the democrats were the majority in both the House and the Senate after the 2006 mid-term elections -
Today in Connecticut the Nouve Barack Pansies are running the polling places -

I don’t understand why more republicans don’t speak up about the dems having been in control of Congress before Obama.
I’ve refuted a lot of people who keep talking about ‘all that Bush did’ and tell them ‘the dems were in control of Congress from Jan 2007 on”.
It goes along with Obama blaming the republicans for ‘hampering’ him. Lol, he has complete control of Congress, how did the pubs hamper him?
Do you know if they have Republican ‘watchers’ at the polls in Connecticut?

They have “watchers”
The WWE ban is spotlighting the SoS/General Blumenthal/Obama corruption
The WWE is running their sponsorship of kid’s charity foundation ads on TV now almost non-stop- with big WWE stars in the ads

I don’t listen and hear all that you do devolve. What is the WWE? I haven’t even had the TV on today but have checked Drudge a number of times.

Lol, how fast I forgot what this thread was about! But I’m jumping from thread to thread. I’ve never watched Worldwide Wrestling in my life, wouldn’t even if it was city wide, lol. But I’m glad about who they support.

That's another thing, I haven't watched a single debate yet. I come here and see threads about debates that happened that I didn't know about, lol. But I seldom have the TV on and can't listen to radio. There's only so much web surfing you can do so I miss many things.
