More of the same. There are plenty of old guard Republicans who both fear and detest conservatism. They see their power being eroded. They’re going to try to lay anything bad that happens to the GOP at the feet of conservatisms’ most visible leader, Sarah Palin.
Hell, the power brokers didn't even think they would take the house six months ago, utter BS.
They want to find someone to blame
As to this article, I forgot how unpopular Sarah Palin was and I guess I needed to be reminded ...again and again. I wonder what will happen when the numbers turn around. We will probably not hear about her popularity even once.
Thanks for chiming in, Rudy.
Now go back to the whole from which you crept.
Other than us in the know, the rest are about to find out just how powerful Sarah really is come Nov. 2nd.
Any so-called GOP party leaders saying this are RINO idiots.
Down with the RINOS!!
Just vote them OUT!!
Rebellion is brewing!!
First, if it is true that GOP leaders are saying this, it just shows that they are more interested in a one seat majority in the senate than they are in principle. If Castle, their boy, had won, he would have voted with the damocrats most of the time and likely would have gone over to the damocrats. Look who the hell he called first after he lost the primary — the white house. Second, if ODonnel looses, it will be because of the lack of support from Castle, the RNC and the likes of Rove. None of them can point a finger at anyone, especially Palin or ODonnel, but themselves if Coons is elected
BTT
Probably one of McCain’s former handlers shooting off his mouth again.
Man up loony rhino! Keep it shut if you can’t put your name on it.
Pull!
This is an attack on the entire conservative rebellion by the establishment. They want to isolate, and kill off it’s head (Palin).
They are willing to give up the Delaware Senate seat, and even Joe Miller (and more), to get at Palin.
We have watched this for two years, and we can count on two more years of it, the GOP establishment has been trying to gut Palin or at least weaken her, all along.
This is just another piece of the battle between the left and right of the Party, this is also a way for them to start pretending that they were in control of an historical victory, and we have only been interfering with it, rather than us creating it out of the ashes of their shambles of 2008 and 2006.
Mike Castle is better than Coons. He voted against the stinulus and health care and would have voted to cancel the unspent stimulus money and to repeal/defund health care.
Of course, COD is more like us but she’s probably not going to be there, unfortunately.
I would have taken Castle any day over Coons.
rove if i had to guess
I think it must be gut wrenching for the gop millionaire elites with their fancy suits, their so called power and the big boy club is no more - because a private citizen, mom of 5, has replaced them when it comes to power and being in demand. LOL!
When SARAH speaks, everyone listens.
I pray they are getting the message. I’ve been cutting information on local races from the newspaper. The D or R is so seldom put in that it gets confusing and I won’t vote for a dem no matter what.
Found out I am distantly related to a Republican Daniel Webster down in South Florida. Forget what he’s running for.
Agreed 100% The ‘rats and their media lapdogs are desperate for another RINO cream puff and we must make certain they are disappointed.
Right now I’d say Sarah Palin is doing what she should. We need someone who fights and she does.
How curious. A more clear-sighted anonymous observer might have said, "If we win the House, I have one thing to say: 'Thank you, Sarah Palin.' From the McCain nomination till now, we RINOs have been cowards unworthy of being associated with you. Henceforth, we promise to shape up and shut up. Will that be all, Ma'am?"
Look at the bright side, Coons could very well help make Delaware ripe for the picking’s in 2012 if he were to win this election.(Not that i want to see him win under any circumstances).
