Learn To Speak Tea Bag (video cartoon by NPR bigots)
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=120344047 ^
Just a reminder but NPR didnt fire a cartoonist who insulted tea party attendees. Apparently that kind of thinking is consistent with their editorial standards and practices.
Me thinks Mz. Schiller has had an issue with Juan since coming on board with NPR.

Schiller responds to audience questions
Jessica Birthisel | Oct. 20, 2009
National Public Radio CEO Vivian Schiller spoke Oct. 19 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater as the School of Journalisms second Speaker Series guest. Below are highlights from the question and answer session with the audience that followed the talk.
EXCEPT
Q: What are the implications of having NPR correspondents and contributors such as Cokie Roberts and Juan Williams participate on other news stations like ABC and Fox News, respectively?
Some such journalists, like Roberts, are employed equally by both companies and therefore present no ethical problems. For others, she said, the situation is a tricky one that we are wrestling with. On the one hand, these appearances are promotion for NPR. On the other, she is not in favor of reporters expressing their opinions publicly. Additionally, NPR journalists often represent the left in topic debates, a representation she said shes not comfortable with.
I completely agree but you might need to open a window for some fresh air!
Ugh.... That thing looks like David Gergen with long hair.
I apologize to Mr.Gergen for the insult.
Left for a while this afternoon...What did Meg Kelly have to say about his legal position...particularly the comment about him sharing his feeling with a psychiatrist....SHE, the CEO, needs to be fired for that comment.
Vivian Schiller should be fired for her snide character assassination.
She fired a long-time black NPR remployee a couple days before she made this comment. I think Schiller’s issue is with black people, not just FOX.
Flashback: NPR Fires a Top Black Manager

I think she acted stupidly and should have a beer summit at the White House with zero & the stooge.
So, does this mean that Ms Schiller can expect a pink slip as a result of her ill-chosen words?
That should put food on his table.:)
No kidding!! O'Reilly is probably beside himself with glee, for this puts him in the center of attention - his main goal in life. Count on him to ratchet it up. LOLOL
What is Ms. Schiller’s annual pay at NPR ?
Megyn said that he could file for racial discrimination, among other things. IIRC, Juan was the only black journalist at NPR. Correct me if I am wrong.
Way to go Fox ..
She should be fired at once.
Excellent catch.
NPR needs to be zeroed out.
Viv .... and BO’s grandmother, I guess.
“The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity, but that she is a typical white person. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn’t know - there’s a reaction in her that’s been bred into our experiences that don’t go away and sometimes come out in the wrong way and that’s just the nature of race in our society. We have to break through it. What makes me optimistic is you see each generation feeling less like that. And that’s pretty powerful stuff.” BHO
I remember when he said that..it was barely a ripple.. because he was right..
I wonder if the FCC should review this firing and comments by the NPR ceo? Juan is a noted civil rights historian and respected journalist. I heard many reporters share personal impressions during Katrina, million man march, and other such events. it’s part of a reporters repertoire. I think the FCC, the Justice Department, the Civil right Administration, the House of Reps, and a few other government agencies should look into this firing. Not to mention the possible law suit for slander by insinuating that Juan has mental issues.
“In other words, a perfect fit for the job.”
In this woman’s case, she appears to be over qualified for the job when it comes to the self absorbed smug attitude. NPR should be de-funded. Tax payers should not be paying for this political shill of the left.
