This is just pissant and us (particularly articles we post), and of course, we can't control anyone else.

I think it's a good start, I've been concentrating on Nov. 2 with articles I post for weeks now, I think it would be good for all freepers to do that until November 3.

Indeed. WA state has a number of House races that could be surprising. At a minimum, we are going to go from 3 GOPers to 5. Possibly up to six. But democrats Norm Dicks (my congressman) and Baghdad McDermott are in no danger, unfortunately. Rossi has run his usual uninspiring campaign, but he's finally flooding the airwaves. The man couldn't get animated if his britches were on fire. Fortunately, it's neck and neck and he has a real shot. But look for these new faces in Congress:

John Koster in the the 2nd and the lovely Jamie Herrara in the 3rd....

We have a good chance of at least two big changes in Michigan(plus several more lesser known). Rob Steele, a doctor, is slightly ahead of John Dingell (as close to a political miracle as there is); Dan Benishek (another doc) is looking good to take over from Bart the liar Stupak.

I thought there was also a candidate who lost his seat in 2008 but has a great shot at winning it back.

There is, but I can't remember his name. I read the polling is close, but that he's slightly ahead right now.

We have a Republican squish who has a huge lead in the governor polls, the democrats in the state are demoralized, so I think it will be a good year for picking up seats here.

I only wish one of our senators were up this year, they're both awful.
