One truly frightening possibility is that this clod could turn into such a drag for the Dems that they decide to martyr him - and if that should be the case, you can bet they will have a “right-wing” fall guy set up. When his own party is running away from him and his ego still keeps moving him in the same direction you can bet there will be an internal war.
