Oh heck.
My comment was based on experience. LOL
We had some rather large Earthquake in 2007 and while everyone ran out of the house I sat there talking to a friend on the phone and only mentioned, in passing, hmmmm guess we are having an earthquake.
Friend freaked. I laughed and kept on talking.

Because of its geologic structure based in sedimentary rock, the damage it can cause is up to twenty times greater than those on the West Coast. wow....

Numerous small earthquakes can be a precursor to a big one. Yep...And if another historical cataclysmic earthquake hits in that region, big damaging aftershocks can occur for years after the main event.

STAY ALERT! Normally I would take this as a sign that pressure is being relieved....but am not so sure with this particular area.

That’s what everyone keeps telling me. I’m always getting the tectonics wrong. It sucks.

I’m sure that if a major quake hit the area, the liberals infesting the state government would be suere it was due to a shortage of tax money.

I'm going to be over in Western Tennessee next week, visiting the Shiloh Battlefield, which is about 120 miles south of New Madrid.
Just hope it doesn't decide to go off while I'm down there. ;-)

Very scary. I think this could happen (foreign peacekeepers) with this president. This President is a dead ringer for Jamal Tambor.

You're welcome! I always thought it was a strange way to pronounce it!

Good grief! I just had the exterminator out here to take care of brown recluse spiders, and now this! Arkansas is a lot more dangerous than it seems! Thanks for the heads up. ;)

I had a buddy from Ver-SAILS, KY...that was the local pronunciation of Versailles.
