Delaware is representative of it, they were a slave state, and they did not end slavery until all of the Confederacy was non slave.

“At the onset of the Civil War, Delaware was only nominally a slave state, and it remained in the Union. Delaware voted against secession on January 3, 1861. As the governor said, Delaware had been the first state to embrace the Union by ratifying the Constitution and would be the last to leave it. While most Delaware citizens who fought in the war served in the regiments of the state, some served in companies on the Confederate side in Maryland and Virginia Regiments. Delaware is notable for being the only slave state from which no Confederate regiments or militia groups were assembled. It did not free its slaves until forced to by the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution in December 1865.”

Agree. Lincoln and his henchmen trashed any chance the republic had. So yes, now we are all “owned” by the Feds. The war made slaves of everyone, we now live on the Federal plantation.

It took a civil war to make people believe that way.

George Washington was saying that 65 years before the Southern rebellion began.

I love how these so called CINO freepers discredit our southern heritage. I am still trying to find a real conservative (living) from the northeast anyway. Can anyone name one?

These idiots call Lee a traitor, but exhalt Sherman. What irony......

So...the proof of conservatism is swallowing the Lost Cause line over the Southern Rebellion hook, line, and sinker? How crazy is that?

They are just different people than us. To me a conservative that "chooses" to live in the North east is suspect simply for making that life decision alone. If the are conservative, then they have chosen to live, at best in the RINOs pasture, ankle deep in statist manure and at worst in a Socialist Lite hell hole...

Also, they complain about Southern sense of "regionalism" but believe me Yankee pride goeth before the fall.

Chris Christie. Now answer mine: are you saying that if you don't sign on to the rebel side of the rebellion they you aren't a conservative?

Chris Cristy is an open border amnesty RINO. Try again.

You think we should all move to Virginia and vote for Obama like the rest of your Southern compatriots?

Chris Christie? LOL...you got to stoop to state level politics? That's a hoot.

I never said that "if you do not sign on that you aren't a conservative". What I am saying is those who discredit it aren't. People like yourself are not conservatives. You and Wlat are from the same mold.

“Being in this country without proper documentation is not a crime,” Christie told more than 60 residents and town officials. “The whole phrase of ‘illegal immigrant’ connotes that the person, by just being here, is committing a crime.”

Being undocumented may be a civil wrong, but it’s not a criminal act, Christie said.

“Don’t let people make you believe that that’s a crime that the U.S. Attorney’s Office should be doing something about,” he added of entering the country illegally. “It is not."

From Wiki.... (nice try)....

Illegal immigration: While serving as U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Christie stressed that simply "[b]eing in this country without proper documentation is not a crime," but rather a civil wrong; and that undocumented people are not criminals unless they have re-entered the country after being deported. As such, Christie stated, responsibility for dealing with improperly-documented foreign nationals lies with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Is that a joke? Of course a real freeper would understand states rights, honor, and heritage.
