" having danced in the street literally...with my partner...I am not qualified to respond."

Oh my God, I thought I was the only one to do an 'Arab Street Dance' to commemorate the occasion. I also did an encore when hell reached up and grabbed that bastard Murtha by the ass.

Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa.

You are both right; it was Strom.

Forgive my Alzheimer's brain.

Are we allowed to cheer the death of Hitler or Musolini? Please let us know whose death we may enjoy; that way we won’t have to think for ourselves.

I’m thankful Christ is the final judge of Teddy and the other Kennedys. I’ve lived through many years of the “sacred cow” status of the Kennedy family. They are inherently no better than anyone else; and their “royal” status conferred on them by a fawning press is a negative as far as I’m concerned.

Thank you for saying this.

The immigration “reform” legislation of 1965 was the most destructive entity ever unleashed on the nation, IMO. It has proven to be more destructive than even the Civil War was.

Even if Ms. Kopechne were pregnant at the time of her death, it would be extremely far-fetched to think that the Chappaquiddick incident was a premeditated murder. There would be too much risk to Kennedy's own life. Manslaughter, yes. Murder, no.

>One day, if this country survives, you will be cautioning your youngers about Obama and his ilk.<

.
What you should not forget to include in the story is the cowardly conduct of our congress critters and other politicians who never bothered to demand disclosure of Obama’s identity but conveniently kept silent on this subject in order not to incriminate themselves.

Kind of begs the question: was Chappaquiddick the “accident” it appear to be?

Ted was a lush, and a Democrat, but nobody's that stupid.

If Kennedy did get Mary Jo pregnant and decided to get rid of her, don't you think he could have come up with a better plan? One that didn't involve being at the scene, in control of the car?

No doubt it was homicide, but not premeditated IMHO. Even a moron would come up with a better plan to murder someone.

From what we can learn, old Joe was the worst of the lot. I have heard that it was because of him that Joe Jr. went on this mission that cost him his life. The father wanted him to be president.

I always heard growing up that LBJ had JFK done away with to be Pres. that was why he insisted being sworn in on the plane. That was the pic with Jackie standing there with the blood on her suit beside LBJ.

Hogwash! The “occasion of sin” is not only applicable to Catholics but to all who believe in the existence of God and His laws.

Beg pardon? I only say that at that time the term” occasion of sin” was a term used during the Catechesis of young Catholics. Not so often these days.

Betting that Teddy wasn’t even driving the murder car, but rather a professional! No witnesses saw him, and the story that he survived the crash, walked several miles to the ferry slip, then swam across and walked to his Hotel unseen by any human is too bizarre for even a Twilight Zone Episode! And we know Teddy was a Coward, a Fraud,
and a Totally Dispicable Dirtball!
