PING!!!
Ya know it’s getting serious when stores are getting into ‘survival mode’.
Not final days, just increased terrorist threats. The energy grid is vulnerable, to it pays to be cautious.
FReeper Appalachian Dweller also has excellent survival information. Hoping he is able to post/add his input here as well. Thanks Kartographer!
Good night! There is hardly anything to eat!
Eh, or a marketing opportunity to sell a band aid to a worried Suburbia, no different than in the late 70’s with Carter running herd.

I love Costco, but IMHO one could put together a lot more food and other items (matches, scissors, first-aid supplies, batteries, soap, personal protection weaponry, water, shampoo, candles, paper plates, plastic silverware, etc. etc.).
Is Spam and Yellow Rice any good?
Obama..Get off my cloud.
Sure don’t want to get the duct tape and toilet paper confused! lol
All in all it looks like a better package than the one where most of the meals were made with textured vegetable protein blech.
If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and
especially for his immediate family, he has
denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

But then some one has to be sitting on the bridge waiting for ‘gubermint’ cheese for the tv crews to flim.
Whatever’s selling might or might not have anything to do with the true risk of a major terrorism disaster, which few people are in a position to know. Kits like this might make special sense in areas known to be frequented by natural disasters (hurricane, tornado, earthquake etc.)
Never tried it. I can tell you that spam, powder eggs, dehydrated onions, and bell pepper makes a good breakfast.
Probably more palatable than white rice and Spam would be.
Costco Will Sell You an Apocalyptic Year's Worth of Disgusting Food for $800
Boil rice with dried apples and cinimon is good.
Hey! Everything tastes better with Spam! :)
