“The conversion kit includes a new receiver and barrel, a new scope, a new flash suppressor and a folding buttstock. The conversion will take five years and will cost about $7,800 per rifle.”
Two questions:
1) After the conversion kit, what’s reaslly left of the rifle?
2) $7,800 / ea! LOL! Hey, it’s only paper!
So once this upgrade is done, could it also end up compatible with the Whisper round - to include suppressor?
I realise they’re looking to drop weight from the rifle itself, but how readily will the ‘upgrade’ accept add-on accessories or swapped barrels?
Just going stream of consciousness ‘cause the money figure being bantered about here is ridiculous. If conversion to suppressed is physically impossible, I’m not knowledgable enough to know that. Edumacate me, LOL.
