I honestly think if the voters were given a CHOICE they would make one.

How about presenting a candidate that claims to be fiscally conservative that actually is one? A candidate that understands that each citizen of Mass has a public debt of $10,000 (+ a $40,000 Federal debt) and that by granting, falsely, marriage status, family deductions etc to relationships “construed” to be equal to real marriages is not only socially wrong but fiscally wrong too?

I think most folks with kids are just as fed up with granting fake marriage status as they are fed up as they are with illegal immigration.

Shame on the Mass GOP for putting forth yet another false choice, imho.

Is it too hard to find a candidate that is both fiscally & socially moderate let alone conservative?

I wonder about that too. It may be that as the GOP is being modified from within by the tea party on a national level, a more local effort will have to be done in Massachusetts to purge the state GOP of liberals. Is that possible? Are there enough conservatives here to do it? I don't know. I think November will be telling. Sean Bielat putting Barney Frank on the unemployment line would be a very positive sign for that.
