My dear Diogenesis are you a Masshole or are you not? If you have not walked the walk don talk the talk. Howie would not have a following if what he says did not resonate, so being a foreigner learn the ground.

Howie Carr is losing his “following” because
he supports Romney and RomneyCARE through Baker.

Howie Carr supports Romney poodles.

Even today, when Romney’s dirty tricks became apparent
regarding Cahill, Carr STILL supported the dirty tricks.
Carr has no conscience.

He will soon have fewer followers than Finneran if
he continues, and puts RINO-loving halfwits
on as his “replacements”.

Double standard for Democrats
By Howie Carr | Friday, October 8, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists

If I ever get in a jam, I ask for no special treatment. Just treat me like a Democrat, like the wrinkly wife of a moonbat congressman who worships the ground Nancy Pelosi and her Botox walk on.

Treat me like Patrice Eremian Chew Tierney, aka Mrs. John Tierney. Gets indicted for laundering millions in ill-gotten gains for her brother, a fugitive gangster, and when she gets caught, she tells the judge she’s depressed and gets fined $2,500.

Think about it - a working man in Reading was just hit with a $2,000 fine for the crime of having no dough to buy himself and his family some RomneyCare health insurance he didn’t need. Now that’s a serious offense.

Two months ago, Christy Mihos was caught using his own personal funds in his campaign for governor, as well as filing late reports. The fine: $70,000.

Question: what’s the big difference between Mrs. Tierney and Mihos?

Mrs. Tierney is a Democrat. Thus, when she launders $8 million in ill-gotten gains, a criminal offense (at least if you’re a Republican), her penalty is a paltry $2,500 fine (plus those hefty $400 court costs). Nothing to see here folks, move along.

And what does John Tierney say on behalf of his felon wife?

“Today’s not about me.”

Or, as Richard Nixon put it, “I am not a crook.”

I’m reading the federal indictment of the Eremian gang last summer, and there’s a list of wire transfers Eremian, the Armenian Whitey Bulger, made to his sister/laundress:

* 9/21/05, $20,000. Payee: P.T.
* 1/27/10, $26,500. Payee: P.T.

“I was not involved,” the congressman claimed. “It had nothing to do with me.”

They must be the only married couple in the world that never talks about money, especially big chunks of it.

This is from the feds on Page 7 of the Eremian mob’s indictment: “Approximately $8 million was laundered through these U.S. bank accounts.”

Nice district, the 6th. The previous Democrat congressman was Nicky Mavroules, Nicky Pockets. He ran his office as a racketeering enterprise - that was the first line in his indictment. He used his son-in-law as his bagman, and they used a code in which a $5,000 bribe was “five bottles of wine.”

What a piker Pockets was. Patrice laundered 8,000 bottles of wine for the Mob.

Henceforward, John Tierney is known as “Johnny Pockets.” When the words “Nicky Pockets” and “racketeering” began to be used in the same sentence back in 1992, the voters threw Mavroules under the bus. Let’s see if they can do the right thing 25 days from now.

From UniversalHub.com:

>>Mike Barnicle is a zombie
By adamg - 10/2/10 - 7:34 pm

That’s one explanation for why nothing can kill the plagiarist. Or, in the case of why Ken Burns chose him to explain the 2004 Red Sox in his recent docu-update, maybe one needs to apply that old journalistic adage: “Follow the money.” As Joan Walsh writes:

Barnicle’s professional troubles are never mentioned, but more remarkably, to my knowledge no media report has made the connection between Barnicle’s star turn and the role of his wife, Anne Finucane, the Bank of America chief marketing officer credited with the B of A’s sponsorship of “Tenth Inning.” Finucane’s role is no secret; she’s been quoted about the bank’s Burns partnership and photographed at gala events with the filmmaker. But it’s undisclosed within the project, and given Barnicle’s (to me questionable) centrality to “Tenth Inning,” something there feels off.

Via Scocca, who has a few choice words on Barnicle and the other local plagiarist Burns used to explain 2004:

Mike Barnicle is a fraud and a liar. He didn’t even have the excuse of being in over his head and strung out on drugs, like Jayson Blair. He had a nice, easy columnist spot. He fabricated and plagiarized because he was lazy and dishonest, and because he had contempt for his $200,000-a-year job and his readers.

Inviting Mike Barnicle to talk about what the Red Sox mean to Boston is like inviting Janet Cooke to discuss the problem of drug abuse among young people. He wasn’t even a sportswriter, unless you count the time he ripped off a joke from George Carlin about the pope giving baseball scores.

Former running mate launches attack on Cahill
By Jessica Van Sack | Friday, October 8, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Local Politics

Tim Cahill’s former running mate this afternoon launched a blistering counter-attack on the independent treasurer, accusing him of wheeling and dealing with his Democratic rival Deval Patrick’s top political consultant and being the “spoiler” that some political observers have pegged him as.

“Most disturbing, however, was Tim’s admission during our meeting that his top political adviser, Neil Morrison, has been in direct communications with Doug Rubin,” Paul Loscocco, who left the Republican Party to join Cahill’s campaign, said in a statement.

Loscocco accused Rubin, Patrick’s top political strategist and a former employee of Cahill’s, of coordinating a negative ad strategy against GOP rival Charlie Baker, whom Loscocco has now endorsed.

Cahill is suing his former campaign loyalists, who jumped ship along with Loscocco, accusing them of violating their agreements with him and plotting to give crucial strategic information to the rival Republican camp.

Ah yes, now the real story comes out, little Timmy is a snake just like his buddy deval and deval’s buddy HUSSEIN - three bleepin’ peas in a pod. Baker needs to stop with the cahill is bad ads, cahill is a non entity, he needs to concentrate on deval - Hudak needs to play on tierney’s arrogance and bielat really needs to concentrate on fannie and freddie and how it’s all bwaney’s fault, who are their campaign managers - why aren’t they jumpin’ all over these issues?

from Red Mass Group facebook:

>>According to the Office of Campaign and Political Finance the lawyer who filed Tim Cahill’s lawsuit yesterday donated $500 to Deval Patrick the day before. Joseph Demeo an Attorney with Demeo and Associates donated $500 on 10/6/2010 to the Deval Patrick Campaign. On 10/7/2010 he filed a lawsuit which not only seemingly helps Tim Cahill but also seemingly helps Deval Patrick. Does anybody else find this odd?

FReepers, know that Romney-Baker-Carr have now
been joined by Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly.

That’s right, Thomas F. Reilly, D, is now with
them.

Baker supports RomneyCARE.
Baker is supported by Reilly
(who covered up Bishop, and more).

Tracking hacks the Gore way
By Howie Carr | Friday, October 15, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists

As we all know, Al Gore invented the Internet, but his fellow moonbats seem to be having some problems adjusting to the new reality.

For instance, it’s not nearly as easy for Democrats to lie in public as it used to be. Five or 10 years ago, the hacks could just call somebody at the Globe with a trust fund and tell him that he didn’t really appreciate these base canards some no-good plebeians with calluses on their hands are spreading, and I’d appreciate something in the next edition to that effect, Chauncey.

Consider Rep. Jim McGovern, Castro’s man in the 3rd district.

Wednesday night he was at a debate talking about public financing of elections, when suddenly he blurted out, “I think the Constitution is wrong.”

There were a few gasps, and later, someone in the audience asked him about what he’d said, because it had “blown my mind.”

“I’m sorry if I blew your mind, but I didn’t say the Constitution was wrong.”

Oh yes you did, Congressman Forked-Tongue. And guess what, the Globe ain’t walking through that door to bail you out., and have eight or nine columnists write the exact same thing, claiming that anyone who would level such a scurrilous charge at el baldo gringo that Fidel calls his amigo grande must be a racist-sexist-homophobe Tea bagger....

Another thing these corrupt Democrats need to figure out: When you put your face and your job and other personal details on Facebook, or you tweet 20 hours a day, it all becomes part of your permanent record.

Consider Nicole Cahill, daughter of the state treasurer, Tim Cahill, the Democrat now unsuccessfully trying to pass as an “independent” candidate for governor. Nicole, of course, can’t work for Dad — she worked as a “summer intern” for the sheriff of Norfolk County, Mike Bellotti, who is, like Cahill, a Democrat from Quincy.

Nicole graduated from Quincy High in 2005. One of her classmates was Catherine Gropp. Care to guess where Catherine works?

That’s right, for Nicole’s dad.

She’s now the “assistant director of communications” at the Treasury for $35,000 a year. Another nationwide search, and it’s all right there, on LinkedIn, Facebook, the Herald hack payrolls, etc .

After graduation, Nicole went to Trinity College in Hartford. That Nicole, she makes friends wherever she goes. Met a nice kid from Chicago named Taniko Nelson, and, it’s just the darnedest thing, but now “Tani” has a job at the Treasury.

Our state payroll has her as an “administrative assistant,” but her LinkedIn account says she’s been promoted to assistant director of policy and government affairs. Like Catherine Gropp, Tani is great at holding Cahill signs.

Where will all these Quincy hacklings work in January?

My guess is there’s going to be a new restaurant in downtown Quincy, and its name will be Handshakes II. Repeat after me: “Hi, my name is Taniko and I’ll be your server tonight.”

Tim will need busboys too. Those jobs will go to the “first-time callers” who dial into the talk shows and say, “Those e-mails are the smoking guns! He’s the only middle-class candidate in the race!”

Thank you, Al Gore, for making it so easy for us taxpayers to bust these people, and so hard for the leeching likes of Cahill and McGovern to get away with it.
