That post reminds me of my last time at the movies. A decade ago perhaps. Nothing worse than the smell of feet, unwanted conversations, sticky soles, and the sound of people eating what sounded like chicken.

However, these might be useful for students commuting around campus, so as to get rid of the stinky busses. Have some stations at major points and let kids stand in line to hope on the next cycle-pod.

I think this could be a great way to allow touring of natural areas, certain parks or zoos. Just make it so people can travel at a leisurely pace and look around. It would be great.
