*raises hand*. Of course, my excuse is that I still consider myself a newbie of sorts...not well versed in history or politics....did’t join here until 2004. I used to ridicule my sister for being so cynical...she’s a product of an anti-Vietnam era college education, complete with SDS. I do believe the shoe is now on the other foot. I had such an idealistic view of how government should be, not how it really is. My son lost his job last year and just started training with TSA. While I am grateful for his employment...I worry that his employment as ‘security’ will, at some point, be misused/exploited for Obama’s personal agenda.
