It’s trolley spelled backwards, we’ve had some retread trolls doing that lately.

I know. I was quite shocked. I can totally understand background checks (no criminals!) and TB tests. But can’t play guitar without a degree in of all crazy things “Music Thanatology”? (Music that Kills???)

I could play to “my” patient - we were “issued” one patient that we would visit once a week for whatever - companionship, caregiver respite, etc. “My” old lady loved my music. But it was only once a week, and then after about a year she moved to a nursing home that was too far for me to drive to (with a terrible clunker) and then there weren’t any patients for me. I was so looking forward to give a lot of people some joy from music. When you can’t do much, hearing music can really bring joy. I’ve experienced this myself.

My wife and I were in Vegas a few years back when the Las Vegas Rodeo was in town. We were standing outside the Mirage where they have a fake volcano that goes off every 15 minutes at night. One of the rodeo riders was there and said, “Isn’t it dangerous to be this close to a volcano when it’s erupting”?

I like that photo (actually I've seen a few) of a volcano with lightning.

I'm not being demanding, though.

;-)

I was sad because I was sure that many of the hospice patients would have loved having me come and play. An example of overweening red tape. OR is like that.

Good.

However, questions remain about O’Donnell’s claims on this one. She was way behind on her mortgage by February 2008. It doesn’t seem that her “pro-bono” work helping Lauren Richardson’s father caused the mortgage trouble.

From what I can tell, it was the discrimination lawsuit that made her fall behind. She apparently dropped the suit in January of 2008 because she could no longer afford an attorney. At that point, she was already two or three months behind on her mortgage.

Very curious.

I take it that boy didn’t get out much. Or, he hit his head one too many times.

Did you offer to sell him a volcano shield? (a sheet of aluminum foil works well for this, and it’s a quick $50.)

BykrBayb! That is excellent! Darkwing104’s troop should add that to their collection.

And the troll is even wearing a clown suit, perfecto.
