He didn’t have to. He tried to destroy her for his political gain by bringing up
all her baggage. I have lost all respect for him and others who came out that
night to assassinate the candidate. We r in the fight of our lives right now.
At least I can say that I witnessed his “coming out” party. I will not forget.
Hannity had no choice, they both work for Fox. One could easily see he was completely baffled by the vacious attack Rove unleashed. I wish he had the same degree of victriol for (o)bama and what a light weight he was and is.
Good! He needs to hear how people really feel. He was never “Bush’s Brain” - more like “Bush’s Ass”. BTW Karl, what did YOU do in high school? Jerk!
It makes sense that Rove was behind Bush’s staunch support of illegal aliens. And IIRC, didn’t he predict a GOP landslide in ‘08? More and more he’s on the wrong side of every issue and is wrong more than Dick Morris.
Hehehehehehe.... pretty good.
Rove and G.W. Bush and their “compassionat conservatism” was a crock intended to fool conservatives.
They did not support nor push ANY conservative agenda.
Term limits is the answer!!!
Too late. We don't want him.
I’m not prepared to assign all the blame to Tokyo Rove for that.
A president is supposed to have the courage of his convictions. If W was so easily swayed into adopting these policies, then he was clearly not up to the job.
My suspicion is that W agreed with these (cf. “compassionate conservatism” BLECH!) and was thus talked into implementing crap he already agreed with.
No he can't "make everything right again."
I'll never forget what he did. Only way he can make it worse if he pulls a Gilchrist and endorses Coons.
I said to my wife the night that came out that Christine could clean up if she ran some ads playing off the witchcraft thing.
Bewitched theme playing in the background, Christine wiggling her nose and making Obamacare go away....
She and her campaign could have a great deal of fun with it -- and rake in cash for her campaign.
The Primary was over. Reality, Karl. If he didn't like the voters choice he could have came out in a more subdued manner. Instead he and Perino came off as petulant sore losers that didn't respect the voters choice.
I don't think it hurt for O'Donnell to address the accusations the dems would throw at her, But Karl could have made this point in a less destructive manner.
Karl's behavior, and the absolutely petty refusal of MurCOWski, Castle, and Crist to accept defeat with grace was and insult to injury.
One thing to keep in mind, on a positive note, the message delivered by Delaware GOP primary voters was that they were tired of no choice but old liberal republicans. They would take a lady with some personal issues who reflect their values over the democrat aisle crossing appeaser.
He is “one” of the people Rush has been talking about since McCain was nominated ... the “establishment” that must be cleared out of the Republican Party. He’s actually a poster boy for this. What surprised me was Rush giving him a guest shot at his radio show ... bet that won’t happen again.
>>if castle had the best campaign, he wouldnt have lost<<
Shouldnt that be if Castle had the same views as the electorate he wouldnt have lost? Its obvious to me that the people in DE agreed with ODonnells views more then they did Castles.
I disagree. I believe Rove actually helped O'Donnell by bringing up all her "baggage". The Democrats were going to pounce on all of that anyway so Rove bringing it up took away some of their sting. It gave O'Donnell more time before the elections to put the charges behind her. It also gave her a HUGE assist in fund raising.
Rove was disappointed by the results of the primary because he was focused only on taking back the majority and thought Castle's loss would keep that from happening. You and I both believe Rove was wrong in his thinking. I guarantee you, Rove will be extremely pleased if Christine O'Donnell wins this thing on Nov. 2nd. Instead of this relentless attack on Karl Rove, I think it would be more beneficial to help O'Donnell win this thing. An O'Donnell win will send the right message to her doubters.
Someone posted a couple days ago something he wrote or said back in the 90s about disarming Americans. I’m not sure about his core values.
” Rove and G.W. Bush and their compassionat conservatism was a crock intended to fool conservatives.
They did not support nor push ANY conservative agenda. “
They spent OUR tax money to help elect Obama. Nice job fellas....
Castle and Rove deserve each other. RINOs together.
