this will be costly for the local justice system to have 88 trials and a lot of grief, and it will also cost ND .....

growing up anywhere near ND and going to Catholic grade school back in the 60's...anything and everything about ND was sacred...
how the times have changed....
now,I hope they lose all their football games and BB games......
its not what it used to be....a university centered around Catholic teachings and tradtions....

If this story breaks nationally, it will really hurt Notre Dame. The school did not prosecute pro-Gay Activists and anti-military activists, but did prosecute people (including a Catholic priest) for principles on which the Catholic Church is based.
Then there is the cost of it, as well.
Notre Dame Needs to fight for its Catholic/Christian identity just as it fights to win all its football games. If anything, the fight for the Catholic Identity of Notre Dame is the more important fight than the fight on the football field...

I did some research. One of the ND 88 has passed away from cancer.
I don't think they will try to prosecute her now... [At least I hope not.]
But it was changed from one trial to 87 trials...

Father Jenkins has dug a deep hole for Note Dame University to crawl out of. I noticed they haven't won a football game yet this season.

They did win one (they got by Purdue), but nothing since. I looked at the schedule. Both Army and Navy are playing very well, so those games are not gimme's, and Boston College and Pittsburgh have been known to beat top 10/20 football teams.
Notre Dame also has three teams to play that are currently in the top 25.
Western Michigan was the only game that I could see that Notre Dame might win outright, but then Notre Dame is 0-2 against Michigan schools.
