Tiggle’s husband wasn’t the one with the stroke. It was Clinton’s.

“Can a handicapped tag be used by family members who are not handicapped?”
Only if the disabled person is with with you. Otherwise, your car can be towed and you can be cited for parking illegally in a disabled parking space. Out here that is a $250 ticket.

Nope, and if it is found out that one was used by a family member (or anyone else) then the tag is revoked.
At least that’s the case here in Illinois last I heard.

The handicapped hanging/dashboard tags are for the individual, not the car. A person who is not handicapped may not use them, or be fined. In addition, the handicapped person can loose the right to have the tag. But if you are handicapped, and have been issued one of these, you may transfer it to other vehicles when necessary. A lot of handicapped people don't drive, so this is a way that those who drive them to places, can get them closer to their destination stop. This woman knows the laws.
Shame on this woman for illegally using her husband's tag just to get a better parking space. Wonder if a handicapped person had to park and walk a greater distance away because of her?

It was 5:30 p.m. When she emerged from the dinner at 11:30 p.m., her black 1994 Lexus was gone. She left the car in a 2 hour handicapped spot for 6 hours.

Clinton has the handicapped tag because her husband suffered a stroke.
Fraudulent use of handicap tag, but the SS did screw up. It would make more sense to me to block off the affected parking spaces earlier.

"At least in my state, handicapped parking is supposed to be used by the handicapped person, not as a reward for women who feed their husbands such poor diets that they suffer strokes. But this is DC, GOK what the law is there.

I had to have some one came and inflate my tires. I had to pay.For $20.00 I bought a small compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter receptacle. It's slow, but I don't have to wait for or pay anyone. Worst case is that the bead might be popped. Usually that will fix itself if you get the weight off the tire. I would use my small trolley jack (another $20.00) and then refill it.

No. It’s illegal for her to use the handicap sticker. She is not handicapped. The only time she can legally use the sticker is when her husband is with her.

That sounds like a wise law. Maybe we should form a nation around a framework of laws like that.Is the /sarc necessary?

Not to mention LEAVING a diamond necklace in the console, not to mention the valuables in the trunk. She’s in the heart of DC for Pete’s sake. She’s in the WILD. She’s not in Mayberry.
