It is obvious that the Tea Party wants nothing to do with a formal leadership structure. God Bless The Tea Party

There is no Tea Party ‘party’, and there is no ‘national’ for Hayworth, or anybody else, to be ‘spokesman’ for...

Hayworth is just the latest trying to ride the coattails of the TEA party. Dick Armey has been trying to hijack it for weeks now.....

Even Palin, who has more rights to claim Tea Party leadership, refuses to call herself a Tea Party leader!

If Hayworth or anyone attempts to claim this title, they must be destroyed by the people quickly.

Great way to abandon any claim to credibility.

Oh, you already destroyed him and got your buddy McCain back in. Relax, I doubt JD wants anything to do with the tea party since the Scottsdale tea party and Palin are what did him in.

And where did this announcement come from?

Apparently, the author of the article. JAY HEFLIN.

He gives no attribution for 'where' he got this info, so.... he must have made it up.

Is he a member of JOURNOLIST?

This writer doesn’t know that the tea party is not a national organization with leadership unless he’s talking about Dick Armey’s tea party. If the tea party groups wanted a spokesman, they would hire someone who had all their gray cells functional and who was positively viewed by most Americans.

Total B.S.

And Pigs will fly. They still don’t get it. The Tea Party is a collection of ideas, not idiots.
However, the way members have let Christine O’Donnell get treated makes me wonder.
We better also get stakes ready for those Boston Kids who prayed at a mosque on their field trip and thereby lost their immortal souls. What the hell is wrong with these purists?

Who is the “Tea Party”? There is no such thing. TPE? TPP? The joke TP Federation? What idiot is putting J.D. pout there as a lighting rod? The article doesn’t say.

Like Fred Thompson? Personally if I had to pick a Tea Party leader I would select James Earl Jones. I would love to hear him read the Constitution live at an event.

I think what this means is that JD has arranged for one of his friends to “appoint” him as a “spokesman” for a movement that doesn’t have, want or need a “spokesman” to succeed. Maybe some people will fall for this gratuitous ploy.

People should read the excellent article How Tea Party Organizes Without Leaders, where it is explained how the Tea Party is an "open organization" without central control.

Well, yeah, Jay Heflin.....

(Confucious say people in mad rants
should not ask stupid questions...)

Since the story is out and being shared
and discussed, there may well be more
of an explanation soon. I can’t wait.

Cheers!! :)
