National Geographic did documentary on them just a month ago. Drug smuggling, gun running, IED manufacture for drug lab and fields defense etc. Most people don’t realize that in till 911, the Hells Angels, Pagans, Banditos etc were considered the largest home grown threats to the nation. With the lifting of that intense national effort to control them after 911 they have started rebounding across the nation.

These type of investigations usually involve getting an officer in deep cover into the gang’s confidence, then amassing as much evidence as possible. They probably only pulled the plug and made arrests now because they got info about the attack being imminent. I doubt the bikers were planning this one thing the whole 21 months.
