The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
To the headline: That is just plain stupid, he never had it.
He never had them.
I find it hard to believe he ever had very many of them...
Note to author...He never had their hearts and minds.
We all know that.
But- it’s another thing for a soldier to put it in writing.
Are you feeling the love in that room? LOL
Exactly! How would you feel if you were on board an aircraft carrier and the captain had no idea on how to run the ship. Since the presidents election, our military has been leaderless.
23 year vet and now contractor in the Iraq here. A lot of the black troops love him, but not for the content of his character if you know what I mean. I observe this more so among the Guard and Reserve troopers.
Good Lord...

He lost his own years ago, now he's losing everyone else's?

Add to this the possiblity, raised by LTC Lakin et. Al., the “President” Obama may not be constitutionally qualified to even be giving orders as CinC.....well?
I just filled out my DoD survey of military spouses booklet.
1) Marital status?
2) Yrs. married?
3) Branch?
4) Are you serving?
5) Spouse deployed?
6) Times deployed since 9-11?
7) Do you have any family members, friends or acquaintances, including co-workers, whom you believe to be gay or lesbian?

Crazy.
Duh, that happened in November 2008. He never had their hearts and minds EVER. Give me a break. Zero disgraces the office of CIC. His disdain for our military and our country is obvious to all; did you notice Zero’s ridiculous salute that he throws at our military when he hops off his chopper or Air Force One. Makes me want to gag. Arrogance in every movement.
To 0bama the troops are nothing more than props to make him look good. Whenever he appears at a civilian town hall meeting there are always some service members (probably reservists) in uniform in front of the camera.
But then, the push for homosexuals in the military was always about getting people friendly to socialism into a spartan lifestyle fraught with backbreaking labor that is repulsive to the hedonists that make up the progressive flock.
Come to think of it, the movement from squadbays and open barracks to dormitory style housing likely had the same goal in mind.
“A lot of the black troops love him, but not for the content of his character if you know what I mean.”
I am seeing that as well. And I find it sad. NOT that Black soldiers/sailors are proud to have a Black POTUS...but that he is not the right one to be proud about.
I actually feel sorry for them. They feel compeled to support someone that doesn’t deserve, IMO, their support.
I actually believe that the election of Barrack H. Obama as POTUS has hurt race relations in the military and nation.
monolithic in thought, too bad.
