I've always imagined Scalia to be a man capable of some degree of physical exertion. One on one I think he could dispose of every single Leftwingtard on the Supreme Court and not get out of breath.

I'd like to see that happen some day.

Yes, I believe Muslims are exempt from 0bamacare. I have not followed as to how they are treated with respect to body searches or the new full body scanners for airline security; seems at one time they were asking to be exempted from that.

This is why the left’s claim that they are the protector of free speech is a joke. They are only concerned with protecting free speech when it’s someone who wants government funds for painting Christ in a jar of urine or when they want to get rid of religious symbols at the local town’s municipal building.

If he were consistent, he would say that burning any religions religious book to include the Bible would be banned, but I doubt he would go that far. Since when is the first amendment subject to whether there will be violence in another country because of it? I’m sure he’s against cartoons depciting Mohommed in an unflattering light also.

On the night of February 16, 1804, Lieutenant Stephen Decatur and 84 volunteers aboard the ketch Intrepid, sailed into the harbor at Tripoli and burned the captured frigate Philadelphia. England's Lord Nelson, the hero of Trafalgar, called Decatur's deed the most daring act of the age.

Seven months later, Captain Richard Somers loaded the Intrepid with gunpowder and sailed into the harbor, determined to destroy the Tripolitan fleet. Before he could accomplish his mission, the Tripolines sighted the Intrepid, opened fire, and blew her up, killing Somers and the entire drew.

Patriots weep.

Maybe after he bans “Jesus in a jar of urine”......or should people just call “burning the Koran” a work of art!

"If a Jew who runs a publishing company prints Korans... Does that make the Koran tainted... and if their is a typo and he discards all the printings in the trash... has he committed a hate crime?

...or if he lubricates his printing press with lard....

...or even better...uses an "organic" ink with traces of pig lard to print it.

This rule would then ENCOURAGE people who want to stop activity protected by the First Amendment to threaten, and follow through with, violence, in order to get the state to stop the protected speech or conduct complained of.

So instead of sending in the National Guard as Eisenhower did to enforce school desegregation orders, the Obama folks just want to knuckle under to Islam - the Constitution be damned.

Again, I didn’t know that the rights enumerated in the Constitution all had an exception for “if others will respond with violence to your exercise of your rights.”

I sure am glad I’m just an uneducated redneck hick out in flyover country. Only someone like Bryer has enough education to make him this F*#%ING STUPID!!!!!!!!!!

He should be impeached, immediately.

You forgot (k): using it as a roll of paper towels to wipe up bacon grease.

Very good use for the Koran.

Bingo.

This is Extortion. We're not just on a slippery slope: we're on the entrance ramp to 4-lane logical superhighway that terminates in "Sharia uber alles."

Here we go...

One small step toward Shari’a law in the USA.

Look at all the legal challenges, from stopping us from burning a book, to allowing hijabs to be worn where the company dress code forbids it, to the attempts to silence witnesses (flying imams).

I bet soon muslims wil pray in public schools openly, using the school pa for the call to prayer, while Christians will still be forbidden.

This incident has provided more insight into the diabolical minds of the America-haters than the people threatening to burn a Koran.

Need to see the tape stephie..sorry

Beyer said in an interview with NBC that he thought it was good to have Supremes with real life experiences on the court. claiming their decision would take into account citizens real life situations.

Now am I halucinating or is the #1 job of the Supremes to interpret the Constitution?

what is the crowded theater today?

OMG. If today's internet has become yesterday's theater where we are might excite delicate souls to panic or mayhem, then this country has ceased to exist as a Constitutional republic.

If I want to light my backyard barbecue with pages from the Koran, I have every right to do so.

Those kinds of malicious acts are typically covered by criminal law in any case. There is nothing in the Constitutional itself that specifically addresses the "fire in a crowded theater" scenario.

If it is a matter of criminal law, then it is the duty of the legislative body that has jurisdiction to craft and pass the appropriate law. If they want to make it a federal crime, then it is up to Congress to pass the law. If it is a local matter, then local legislatures would have to address it. In any case, the courts have nothing to do with crafting and passing the laws. Now that is in the Constitution.

Let me see if I've got this right: speech that might bring on violence is exempt from free speech? OK, so being blonde, I am so offended by dumb blonde jokes (actually I enjoy them greatly), therefore if people continue to tell blonde jokes, I WILL go unibomber and bomb every comedy club, home or other venue where blonde jokes are told.
