Having lived through two presidential impeachments, I think you need two things to successfully impeach a president.

Maybe you mean just one (Clinton)? Nixon had articles of impeachment drawn up against him, but he resigned before the formal process could be set into motion by Congress.

100 seat turnover in the house. 12 plus in the Senate. It is much worse (better for us) than the dems have let on. Pelosi and Reid are finished. There are only 4 or them who will come forward and lie about the situation. Hussein, Biden, Plouffe and Axlerod are still spinning and lying. Even Hoyer and Emmanuel won't shovel that stuff any more. They can't even do it with a straight face. They didn't see this coming. Such hubris. Such ineptitude.
