He wasn’t arrested. The end of the video shows him walking across a street without police escort.

I think you must be the stupid one. This is no longer about burning a koran. It’s about our government preventing a man in florida from burning a koran. it’s about muslims threatening violence if anyone burns the koran.
With those two points factored into the situation we are now in...THE KORAN *MUST* BE BURNT. I do not see how anyone cannot see that. I am burning one today myself.

I'm embarrassed by those of my countrymen who are foolish enough to believe in “Diversity” and “Multiculturalism”
If we don't stand up to Islam now, and turn it back, then when?
A good start would be to read the Koran and understand the enemy not burn it but I agree with the mans sentiment and applaud him.

Get back to me when our side starts cutting heads off with rusty knives.
Your appreciation for barbarity is lacking.

Im embarrassed by Americans who are so afraid of what muslims think that theyll dance backwards to apologize. Aye....spinelessness and muslim appeasment do not work; they still hate us and would jump on the first opportunity to kill us.

It’s not so much the burning of the koran but refusing to be silenced from protesting. The real issue is the creeping sharia law that is happening here. The first area that they attack is the freedom of speech.
There may be better ways but too many people here are not willing to truly confront what is happening here in the US.

Yeah, I just watched it to the end...the cops seemed to be there for his protection...and to get him away from the scene.

I think the police got involved because he didn’t have the proper permits from the fire department, had not conducted an environmental impact study, and had not paid burn taxes to the city.

I didn’t send it to Drudge. I’ve never done anything like that before. Maybe somebody on the thread can do it?

I'm tired of Muslims and their threats, and leftists and their name-calling being allowed to determine the limits of free speech in this nation. I'm sick of Muslims committing atrocities with nary a peep of disapproval from their co-religionists, yet who become very very vocal indeed with their anger and intimidation at the least sign of “disrespect” for their beliefs. I'm tired of seeing the symbols of other faiths reviled on a routine basis, yet the symbols of Islam somehow declared off-limits for criticism. If Muslims wish to live in this society, they need to accept the fact that their beliefs will drawn criticism and anger, especially when their co-religionists have declared war on this nation and our Constitution.
Burning a Koran is perhaps not the wisest act, but I completely understand this man's anger and indignation. When Muslims quit trying to impose their hideous beliefs on others with threats and murder, you may find me more sympathetic to Muslim sensitivities. But until that day comes, I will remain an enemy of Islam and all it stands for.

you probably cant start a fire in public in NY....It depends on your source of fuel. It's a-ok as long as you burn an American flag.
