Riots in the streets of muzziedom. Can’t beat that.
“so the Secretary of DEFENSE called him?”
Of COURSE! We REALLY don’t want to upset those peace loving mooslims.
When I heard that the Muslims might agree to move the Mosque in return for that Florida church refraining from burning Korans, I got a new viewpoint, namely, hardball between those two parties. It didn’t occur to me that the Muslims might back down. When viewed this way I admire the Florida minister because I believe that was his strategy all along. Looks like he didn’t blink.
We’ve learned (or confirmed again) that several of our leaders are sissies, unable put the Koran burning into a larger perspective like Palin did (both Mosque and Koran burning are offensive).
Looking at the Mosque vs. burning conflict, do you suppose the Muslims might end up the losers if the Korans are burned? Why else would they give in?
Hadn't seen this guy in a while.
The world now knows that leaders lie when they say Islam is a religion of peace, all the while running interference for them.
Telling us us how great Allah really is, defending Islam.
And then an old man in Fla says he will burn Korans, Muslims get offended and threaten death worldwide.
While the whole world is watching.
Both groups are jealous of the attention the other gets. Here is a news story from yesterday:
Shirley Phelps-Roper calls out Florida preacher for plans to burn Quran ... 'cause she did it first
By Justin Kendall, Thu., Sep. 9 2010 @ 2:00PM
Shirley Phelps-Roper is reportedly calling Jones a poseur. Fred Phelps' daughter told the Star that Westboro's was burning the Islamic religious text on a Washington, D.C., street back in 2008. "We did it a long time before this guy," Phelps-Roper told the Star.
Yeah, so give credit, Rev. Jones. Not that Phelps-Roper thinks Jones' has the grapefruits to burn anything.
"They'll browbeat him and he'll back down at the last minute," she said. "He's an apologist. He doesn't serve God."

That can’t be a brit moozie? His teeth are too straight.
A pox on all of their houses.
It’s an international farsical circus, with Barry serving as the absurd ringmaster. like living in a Dali painting.
You just know that out of 6 billion people on the planet, and the intensive news coverage, that there will be some Korans burned on Saturday. This pastor lit the fuse and its going to happen, somewhere, guaranteed.
Thanks to General Petraeus, who is so concerned about the troops, that he decided to let the entire Middle East know what this tiny little church in Florida was doing.
Or, better yet, H. Bosch.
it will be all over You Tube!
Instead of moving the Ground Zero mosque why doesn’t he say he will not burn if Barry releases his long form?
He has bigger cajones than our elected government.
Obviously the Imam lied to the good Pastor. Surprise - Muslims lie to the infidels.
“messy mess”
Great term, great opportunity. This is when things are liquid and capable of assuming new shapes.
The biggest reshaping will this November when our government is reshaped.
The pastor never spoke with the imam. The pastor only spoke to Obama Administration officials. I will leave it up to you to guess who did the lying here.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. The anti-Muslim leader of a tiny Florida church says he was lied to and is rethinking his decision to cancel burning Qurans to mark 9/11.
Pastor Terry Jones earlier Thursday had backed off his threat to burn the Quran after he said he was promised that a planned Islamic center and mosque would be moved away from New York's ground zero. Muslim leaders denied there was such a deal.
Later outside his church he said that the imam he thought he made the deal with "clearly, clearly lied to us" about moving the mosque.
Jones and Imam Muhammad Musri stood side by side in a news conference where the pastor said he would cancel Saturday's event.
Musri later told The Associated Press there was only an agreement for him and Jones to travel to New York and meet Saturday with the imam overseeing plans to build a mosque near ground zero. Link.
