...our policies of torture, targeted assassination, invasion of Muslim countries and unintended infliction of civilian casualties in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan are also provocative. Pictures of victims of torture as well as innocent people killed by drones and stray bombs are every bit as bad as burning the Quran.

Idiot. These collectivists have been killing people, innocent people, for about 1400 years. RESIGN. POS.

No, Pat Buchanan sings the same song.

... he unfortunately fails to see the whole picture and understand that our policies of torture, targeted assassination, invasion of Muslim countries and unintended infliction of civilian casualties in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan are also provocative. Pictures of victims of torture as well as innocent people killed by drones and stray bombs are every bit as bad as burning the Quran.

I would behead a few of the worst and throw that in for them to mull over, too. Those people understand only one thing - force and power. (Or is that two things?) If we would take the gloves off and let them know we are serious and that we intend to win this no matter what it takes, unintended consequences and all, I think they would get the message real quick. However, just like Vietnam, they know they have strong allies in our government and in our media and if they will just scream loud enough we will quit. Bad on us!

We must refuse to allow all this political correctness to stop us and do what's right for ourselves regardless. The liberals who impose all this softness on us are our enemy. They seek our defeat just as they did in Vietnam.

Paul has abandoned his strict constitutionalist views.

I find it more than just a little hypocritical for a General out searching for and attacking Muslims to suggest that a lowly pastor burning a Quran is worse in the enemies eyes than what he is doing everyday.

If you listen to Pitreaus(?), the Muslim In Chief and that pinhead Hannity You'd think if the Pastor didn't burn the Quran it would otherwise just be a day at the beach for our troops...

So what if Ron Paul is not for burning any book. Are we in Nazi Germany??? And beside, don’t you remember the massive outrage when they draw the Mohammad cartoons ? Now imagine their reaction if we burn their holy book. Pissing off 25 % of the world population doesn’t seem constructive to me. And
Petraeus, said this act would put the troops in greater danger. Just for that, the pastor shouldn’t do it period.
