Were they kind enough to provide a list of proscribed manufacturers? I could add them to Ford for potential sources whenever it is time to purchase another car.

Wait! It’s a foreign car, BORN in the United States. He should ask for amnesty — and citizenship. And food stamps. And free housing.

I think they are just catching on -
Their cars are banned from my garage.
Ford must be so proud!

Nothing new here. The auto unions always disallowed ‘foreign’ cars to be parked in their lots.

I would love to hear their take on the Chevy GTO, built entirely by Holden in Oz.

I ban UAW autos in my garage.
And I ALWAYS will.
I dislike unions very much (and I was a ILWU member for 4-5 years).

Most “foreign” cars on the road today are manufactured in the US, and in some cases, moreso than “American” nameplates which often have Canada or Mexico as a final place of assembly.

Considering the way that car companies have all intermingled and purchased stakes in each other, this should be interesting to watch!

I live close to an old Ford Transmission plant in Ohio that shut down a few years ago. There are bumper stickers everywhere on cars that say things like, “You can’t be patriotic and drive a foreign car” or “When you are starving eat your foreign car.”
I like my Honda Pilot, which is now being made in the foreign country of Alabama.
Did I mention the Ford plant closed?

Oh good grief. I worked a contract in the now shuttered GM Janesville, WI plant. Besides Chevy/GMC Suburbans, the plant manufatured small box trucks. I saw coming off that line both GMC and Mitsubishi trucks. Same materials, same machinery, same workers. Only the badging was different.
Are they gonna check the door jamb to see if my Dodge Dart was made in New Jersey or Windsor, Ontario?

UAW bans foreignnon-union cars from union property

The scribe later wrote that his Camry was built at Toyotas Georgetown, Kentucky plant They are going to have to rework their rule to make it union built vs. non-union built that they discriminate against.
