I agree. The coffee table is too modern, plus it’s make of different colored wood and looks splotchy. And get rid of the bowl of apples—too casual. Instead put a bouquet of flowers.
Could they get any closer together on that couch?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen two non family, straight guys willfully that close together.
The beigeness of it all reflects 0’s nonbelief in American exceptionalism. It makes me feel he’s drained the color out of American life as we trudge on our way to socialism.
They should lose the rug and keep the hardwood floors. Carpet is out of style, even if it costs a fortune like this one. All of the baby blue features (the seal on the rug, the artwork, etc.) is too feminine for the Oval Office, which should have a manly feel. The couches are a DISASTER. Too beige, casual, and they clash with the chairs. An opposite color would be better.
Looks like they found Al Gore’s wardrobe designer.
