I came across this thread, again. I frequently visit
Dr. Mercola's site. His most recent article about soy is
This 'Beloved' Food Can Cause Allergic Reactions for Years - and Infertility for Generations! (page title: Is the Hidden Unfermented Soy in Your Foods Contributing to Illness?) He has been writing about soy for years and there are links to some of his earlier articles in this one.
He touches on some of the points made by posters to this thread, like 91% of soy grown in the U.S. is genetically modified and unfermented soy is bad/fermented soy is good. He also provides more details of the bad effects of consuming unfermented soy and the benefits of consuming fermented soy.
