Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

I have never *gotten* the idea that women should be elected because they are women. A woman can not represent you better because of her sex. To say so is the put the lie to the entire women’s movement. Of course, the truth is the whole women’s rights movement was hijacked in favor of abortion on demand years ago. That seems to be the sum total of their agenda.

You get a serious enough Economic setback society will return women to the home and send the men out to protect their families' wellbeing.
This is an ancient tradition, and to see it happen first in Congress is encouraging ~ that mean's the Leftwingtards didn't totally corrupt the human spirit.

Looks to me as if there might be a whole new crop of petticoats in the Capitol next term. Only they won't be of the sort endorsed by feminists.

Left wing women have come across as particularly repulsive: Pelosi, Boxer, McCaskill, Murray. et. al. Really bad personalities and politics.

And note to Ms. Mascaro: Speak for yourself, not for me.

Oh, I can think of a couple of women coming in this fall from Alaska and Delaware. :)
Of course they aren't flaming liberal idiots so maybe they aren't really women to the leftists, just like so many blacks aren't really black unless they tow the inner city, race baiting line

The prospect of a setback has advocates of women's rights in disbelief, but determined to try to prevent it. "That is not going to happen," said Terry O'Neill, president of the National Organization for Women"... oh, and by the way, I almost forgot: @#$% SARAH PALIN!!!"

That’s funny, Sarah Palin (a woman, and obviously one who takes pride in it) endorsed a whole group of “Mama Grizzlies”, did she not?
I guess if you don’t look like a lesbian, you are not a woman to the left. There is something quite twisted about that.

This story bears out the truth of the old joke that if the establishment news media were to announce the end of the world, the headline would be:
WORLD TO END TOMORROW; WOMEN, MINORITIES, AND THE POOR TO BE HURT WORST

The NAG gang??? They lost every bit of credibility they thought they had with ignoring Clinton’s bimbo fiascoes. I’m surprised they even exist anymore as an organization.

"That is not going to happen," said Terry O'Neill, president of the National Organization for Women. Excuse me "Ms" O'Neill, but that's not for you to say. It can and will happen if the voters (remember them - they are the folk who are supposed to be in charge) decide not to vote for people who happen to be women.

The majority of the membership of NOW are lesbians. They don’t even begin to speak for what normal women want.
