"All the claims about the administration being anti-business (and thus creating an uncertainty that was preventing hiring, etc.) would vanish." Not a chance!

Any promised tax cuts would disappear after the election. I'm really getting annoyed at Obozo assuming we're all stupid.

Joe 'The Plumber' is now predicting Obamah to cut taxes?
Not so much Kool-Aid Joe.
To: blam
Where do people come up with these ideas? Talk about wishful thinking. Obama could abolish all taxes, and it would not help. Obama is done.

NFW. And if he did, it would be a lie and everyone above a 90 IQ knows that.

Anything is possible with this nutcase. He may believe he can salvage some Congressional races by buying off the greed vote.

October suprise?
Long shot because Sept will be the Israel/Peace dog and pony show to divert attention from wackmadinajob and their nukes.
Then maybe in Oct he does the campaign trail via rallies at Union shops, and screaming about how things are working.
On second thought, not a chance, this is the market wishing for fishes to get another pump and dump, so they can get out.

He'll announce a massive tax cut.
Right before enacting a massive tax increase.
Then we will listen to the MSM telling us how higher taxes are in fact lower taxes.
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

The left-wing would desert him in droves.
I doubt he will do this when he's been trying everything but officiate over a gay wedding to get the leftist sheep to the polls.
To: blam
Nope, but he will allow free travel to Cuba.

letting the tax cuts expire wouldn't cause all that much harm (except, insomuch as they hit small businesses), Not that people like me would EVER matter to people like you...

He can knock himslef out and announce a "massive tax cut" but it would be a momentary blip on the radar and not enough to save the 2010 elections. For 18 months, EVERYTHING the leftists infested Democrat party has done is "devil in the details"; and even then, we can't find those details out until AFTER bills are passed since no one in D.C. can read anymore.
Everything, I mean EVERYTHING over the past 18 months has boiled down to this: "Is it Good for America?". If it is, the Democrats will screw it up on purpose. If it is not, they'll jump in both feet first.
I stand on my belief, liberalism is a mental disorder.

a reversal on tax cuts would actually do it.but that would require a rational pro-capitalist mentality which is impossible for libtards.

He can propose it.
And I believe that the coming Conservative Congress will be happy to write the Bills and pass it for him to sign...

There’s been talk of this before and what’s potentially deceptive is that Obama is probably going to simply shift taxes around. So he might pass a bill that contains some income tax cuts, but it’ll probably include a VAT of some sort.
