Murkowski is far too liberal for Alaska. Joe Miller is a great candidate and should win tomorrow if the trends in the polling are any indication. Governor Palin has a great robocall for Miller that is just hitting the phones in Alaska.

ObamaCare is going to make Hitler’s invasion of Russia seem like a rational decision in comparison. (I am not calling Obama Hitler or a Nazi. I am just saying that Hitler made better decisions than Obama.)

Sorry for the typos in original post. Post should read:

Click in the margin to listen to Lisa Murkowski accuse Joe Miller of lying for saying she had supported ObamaCare and a clip of Murkowski from 2009 that was played on Rush in which she has attacks the characterization of Obamacare’s “end of life” provisions as “death panels”, accusing those who use such terminology (read: Sarah Palin) of “inciting fear” and absolutely denies that ObamaCare would result in death panels . She says she is “offended” by the characterization.

Every Palin supporter in Alaska needs to hear this. This woman needs to be defeated.

Then let me be the first to liken Obama to Hitler.

Hitler = fascist, national socialist

Obama = fascist, socialist

Obama is more like Hitler than Bush could ever dream of being.

ObamaCare is indefensible.

Hitler was a National Socialist, whereas Obama is an International Socialist.

At least Hitler in his own crazed way, put his own country first (although in the end his plans were disastrous for it), Obama wants us all to be ‘citizens of the world.’

Of course she supported ObamaCare. She exempted herself from having to sign up for it.

I don't know this for sure, but I'm guessing as a former Senatoretter, she (and her children no doubt) will be exempt from ObamaCare for the rest of their lives.

It is very important not just for Alaska but for the rest of the nation, Alaska will be the political focus for a long time soon and needs to be the working model for the rest of the nation.

Lisa Murkowski may be good just for Anchorage the largest city in Alaska which is heavily liberal but is not representative for the rest of the state that is more than twice the size of Texas.

Our nations pick of future leaders should not be sole made from the urban cities, what we need is candidates that are more in touch with the core of America, the heartland, the farmers, for without the heartland the cities would die.

Joe Miller has everything I respect for a representative for our state, Anchorage does not rule Alaska. Lisa needs to see whats best for Alaska and not for the privileged elite liberals that only live in the state during the summer.

People on DU would disagree.

Both Obama and Hitler were statists and “progressives”, no doubt. Both held their own intellect in high regard, although both are dabblers, dilettantes. Hitler was always something of an outsider, rejected by the establishment and harboring deep resentments. He found validation in the Great War and was deeply nationalistic and physically brave. Obama was an outsider in some ways because of his unique racial and ethnic origins and upbringing, but he was embraced by the establishment and has never exhibited the least bit of physical nor moral courage. Obama is an oddly deracinated man, with no clear national or ethnic affliations.

Hitler made his mark by rebeling against the German establishment, Obama as a vehicle for the establishment's aspirations.

Both tapped deep seams of populist resentments, but populism is better as a campaign tool than a governing principle. Both, in fact, are improvisers, not in thrall to any particular principles, except unshakable faith in their own genius and greatness.

People on DU would be wrong, because they are idiots.

Hitler made his mark by rebeling against the German establishment, Obama as a vehicle for the establishment's aspirations.

Obama is a vehicle for the LIBERAL establishment's aspirations, but according to liberals "The Man" has always been the conservative establishment. Obama is a "fight the power", "power to the people" kind of guy... just like Hitler.

And like Hitler, when the going gets tough Obama has absolutely no solutions or responsibility, only excuses, blame, and anger... the hallmarks of the sociopath.

For whatever it is that passes for an establishment in America, Obama is their standard bearer. Wall street donated to him, unions love him, he was whisked through the Ivy League, the LSM worship him. For the most part, the churchs embrace him. Probably the only major American institutions that have not embraced him is the military and the Boy Scouts.

Redundant.

Actually, a lot of people would disagree. I agree that both Obama and Hitler have totalitarian impulses. Even in their degraded state, American institutions are better able to check them than Weimar Germany’s.

The differences between Obama and Hitler are probably greater than their similarities.

Lisa Murkowski is an absolute disgrace. She needs to be shown the door and end the Murkowski Alaskan political dynasty. Neither her nor her father are very admirable, but more so, they are not representative of Alaskans.

At least Hitler loved his country and most of it’s traditions, unlike Hussain...Barry...Barak...what ever it’s name is.

Hasn’t Murkowski also come out against the repeal of Obamacare? I recall seeing that somewhere.

Hitler's love for German traditions was very selective. He was anti-christian in a traditionally very Christian country, he was an anti-intellectual in a country with one of the world's oldest and deepest intellectual traditions. Hitler loved his peculiar ideal of what Germany should be, an ideal that only existed in his imagination. He planned to transform Germany the way that Obama plans to transform America.

Of course, in Hitler's plans Berlin (renamed “Germania”) would be the capital of the world. In Obama’s plan, Washington (renamed "Garveyville") will be a reeducation camp for bitter clingers and Kinshasa will be the capital of the world.
