The reason that tylenol tablet costs $18.00 is that the hospital is having to recover the cost for all kinds of extra services, from the extra labor required for the nurse to document to the government’s approval that they gave you the correct medicine and dosage at the right time, to that fancy facility, to chaplain services, to all the free care that they have to give at the government’s directive that the government doesn’t pay for.

Hmm interesting. I take acetaminophen daily due to migranes, I also have asthama.

Maybe I can call one of the ambulance chasers that advertise all day on Fox News and sue somebody.

This can easily become the "asbestos of the 21st Century". I hope some sleazy lawyer isn't trolling Free Republic today.

Thanks Joe. My hubands doctor told him to take ibuprofen rather than acetaminophen.

>> If you have to take it, take it with Prilosec

Thanks for that info. The ulcer factor never occurred to me.

I avoid taking pain relievers unless absolutely necessary. The Aleve in my experience often works to mitigate migraine symptoms (or at least I ‘believe’ it does).
