Any glaring problems with either Horne or Thomas? Both of these guys pretty much stay away from my area of the state.
It was a perfectly good newspaper until Gannett (USA Today) bought it and screwed it up.

He’s a very liberal Republican trying to run as a conservative against Thomas.
A good fianncial newsletter written by a conservative guy gave a call to short Gannett - betting it would go down. Their cash flow is drying up and they have huge debt. He made the call to short at about $16.50 to 17. I am not big on shorting, I usually might do it to hedge. The stock is down to $12.25 and the call generated a gain of about 38% in 3 months.
He said they will eventually be sold off for peanuts or will go bankrupt. Whenever I go into a hotel - I always tell them please no USA Today. The only people who read it are idiots who look at the pictures.

Which financial newsletter? I want to know anyone who would tell people to short Gannett, because they so richly deserve it on so many levels. Freepmail me if you don’t want to post an ad for the newsletter.
Thanks for the link. This particular race doesn't seem to be getting a lot of play down here in Tucson and the single issue of cracking down on TUSD "Raza" studies could well give Horne more traction than he deserves.
Porter Stansberry’s Investment Advisory. He added a younger guy so the name may have changed. He made the call on Mar 2010 at $16.29. His analysis work is good. Please note I am not pimping for his NL. He did make a good call here but it all made sense. The gain would be 33.0% so far and it will probably go to $10 or lower.
Horne was asked by Senator Russell Pearce to crack down on La Raza studies several years ago - it took him until recently, shortly before he started running for AG against conservative Thomas, to do anything about it. Tells you all you need to know. Tom Tancredo revoked his endorsement of Horne and has endorsed Thomas instead. Please spread the word if you can.
Thomas is a good man. Ironically, he was at Harvard Law at the same time as Obama. As he put it, “I went right, and Obama just went his way.”
I scribbled the line toward Thomas.
Horne's commercials state that he has the backing of the Arizona "Tea Party"....don't know if it's true or not...

I’m packing for a move, with no time to spare. But, I haven’t seen a voter guide for my district anywhere.
KFYI has a lot of information, but I can’t find a sample ballot for District 4. Partly my fault for being late in the game. Just no time in my life right now!

Thank you for the replies. I wish the Republicans would fight the Democrats as effectively as they do each other, lol. I had always liked Andrew Thomas from what I had heard and knew next to nothing about Horne with the exception of a few caustic ads between the two. Thomas it is then.
