This whole Clinton/Ruddy thing blows me away. I don’t read Newsmax so I didn’t know about Ruddy easing up on Bill. I’m a conservative and I hated the Clintons in the 90s, but Bill is a remarkably charming individual. Although a lefty, he seems like he does like being an American. He has been married to the same woman for 40 years, and he does attend church regularly. I believe it was Billy Graham that helped save his presidency. I think he would have been a much better president if he would have hung around George H. W. Bush during his time in office, but those kinds of things don’t really happen in the real world I suppose. I’ve seen video of Clinton and Bush doing interviews and such, and there is genuine affection between them. Clinton really knows how to treat an older gentlemen with respect, and that is a gift, esp. for a man that grew up without a father, it’s rare.
All right, I’ll say it, I wish Hillary was president instead of Obama, OR MCCAIN!!! Clinton made mistakes but he truly loved being an American, Obama does not. Plus Clinton knew that the economy was the most important issue of his time in office.

I think this explains a lot. I’ve been seeing a lot more not so conservative stuff on Newsmax also a lot of stuff you’d expect to be covered is omitted. The problem with most of these online mags is that they even if they are conservative still employ far too many liberals in their midst. Too many “conservatives” want to be loved by the left and allow whether they are “mainstream” be determined from the perspective of the left. I have acquaintances and friends who are far left but I never confuse the personal with principles. Someone being affable on a person basis says nothing about whether they are right or wrong.

I grew up with people like Bill Clinton... Ruddy doesn't know who he is dealing with. Which is bad for him and bad for all of us... Also, Bill Clinton just got some credibility with this one. Thanks Ruddy! You look good in that picture standing next to a serial-rapist and a guy who also helped normalize in this country cheating on your significant other. Not to mention other things... Then after all of that he says this:

"I am a great admirer of President Clinton," Ruddy said. "He has not only redefined the post-presidency, but has served as an exemplary goodwill ambassador for our country throughout the whole world. His efforts transcend politics and deserve support."
