I have one Social Security card and the nine digit number on that card is it as far as I know. I have never checked to see if there are other Social Security numbers associated with my name.
The point of the article that this thread is based on is that everyone should probably check to make sure that there aren’t other numbers linked to you that could be used to steal your identity, particularly by illegal aliens.
