>>2000 years ago. Hmmm. What was his name again?

Herod?

IIRC, Mel Gibson rendered a particularly unflattering depiction of Herod and his perverted entourage in “The Passion of The Christ”.

The Eunuchs have always coveted the power of those they were inbred to serve - ISN’T THAT RIGHT, “GEORGE”?

"Didn’t some guy many years ago go into places where there were tax-collectors, prostitutes, and other assorted sinners for a dinner party? You do remember him, do you?"

No, I don't remember a "guy" doing that. If you are referring to the Savior, Jesus Christ, I can assure you that the topic during any dinner party He attended was the problem with the human heart being broken beyond repair. He likely also noted that the only possiblity of repentence was if He granted such.

And recall the same town in which He healed rose up and butchered Him for pressing this unhappy revelation upon their fragile psyches. He was not a popular figure amongst the leadership or the typical townsperson. They repaid His kindness with an executioner's cross.

But, perhaps Ann will be telling them about Christ and saying, "Fellas, you are in sin, just as everyone is, but yours manifests itself in an ungodly lust for sexual relations with each other. This is evidence of your depraved and broken natures, just as mine evidences itself in pride or anger or (fill in the blank). If you are able, if the Spirit is drawing you, you will notice that you sense an overwhelming guilt about this error, this sin. If you are among the elect, you will find yourself crying to God for some kind of relief. That relief lies only in the grace provided by God through Jesus Christ, a grace that manifests itself in an abandonment of trust in your own goodness. You will find yourself disgusted with not only your wicked behavior, but really every aspect of the human condition...including your own attempt to be good. When this begins, you are experiencing the first fruits of a rescue that you didn't start, and you cannot stop. You may be experiencing repentence and a turning toward faith in Jesus Christ, alone. If you are granted faith, you will find forgiveness and being clothed in His righteousness. Let me know if you would like to know more about this."

If this is her message, then you are correct. If not, then she is culpable for intimating that there is no problem with men having sex with each other. Same with Rush. Just because he understands illegal immigration does not mean he has a clue about the Scriptures...and he evidently does not if he admires Elton John enough to have him sing at his wedding.

Associating with homosexuals to explain their sin to them is one thing. To associate in order to lend them credibility is quite another. If you cannot spot the difference, you may want to revisit the Book.

>>It’s not about social conservatism, it’s about math.

Ok, since it’s about math.

What is the long term impact upon the social/biological/and reproductive fitness for a society that “normalizes” the abomination of Nature and Natural Law?

Got Due Penalty for Perversion?

"Thus far in 2009, 40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative, 35% as moderate, and 21% as liberal."

I didn't go to one of them fancy public schools, but I'm pretty sure 40% is less than 50%. What do you think?

Incidentally, according to exit polls from 2008, 20% of self-described "conservatives" voted for Barack Obama. Do you know any "conservatives" who voted for Barack Obama.

There is a WIDE DIVIDE between how people describe themselves ideologically, and how they vote or even what party they belong to. If there wasn't, Republicans wouldn't lose many elections, anywhere - and the GOP would enjoy comfortable majorities in party ID, but they don't.

I went to public school when they taught one to read. 40% is more than 21%.

"I went to public school when they taught one to read. 40% is more than 21%."

Apparently they didn't teach the difference between the words majority, minority and plurality. Just saying.

Self professed conservatives outnumber any other group which disproves your statement : Unfortunately, conservatives are a minority portion of the country,.

We are done. Have a good night.

Let's see - Repeal the "death tax", free market insurance reform, lower corporate taxes, lower capital gains taxes, simplify the tax code, social security reform, spending freeze (especially considering in the last 65 years, the country has NEVER held spending to prior-year levels), Fighting global extremists, small business market reforms, school choice and urban renewal tax credits, and protecting the 2nd Amendment....

Those all seem like things any conservative would support, fully. Sure, they've added some descriptions to appeal to the gay community because they're trying to appeal to the gay community.

Do you want allies who agree with 70% of your platform, or enemies who agree with ZERO percent of your platform. In a democracy, the former seems a whole lot more attractive than the later.

"Unfortunately, conservatives are a minority portion of the country,."

That statement is still 100% true. I'm sorry you don't understand the definition of "minority".

Coulter is probably banned from posting on Free Republic now. Can we still post articles written by Glen Beck?

Are you blind, stupid or just a leftist? But I repeat myself....

1 – TAX REFORM - Death tax repeal; domestic partner tax equity, and other changes to the tax code that will provide equity for gays and lesbians; cut in the capital gains and corporate tax rates to jump start our economy and create jobs; a fairer, flatter and substantially simpler tax code.

2 – HEALTHCARE REFORM – Free market healthcare reform. Legislation that will allow for the purchase of insurance across state lines – expanding access to domestic partner benefits; emphasizing individual ownership of healthcare insurance – such a shift would prevent discriminatory practices [to homosexuals who have a huge rate of AIDS btw...] by an employer or the government.

3 – SOCIAL SECURITY REFORM - Bringing basic fairness to the Social Security system through the creation of inheritable [codeword for homosexual partners] personal savings accounts.

4 – DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL REPEAL – Repeal of the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.

5 – HOLDING THE LINE ON SPENDING – Standing up for all tax payers against wasteful and unnecessary spending to protect future generations from the mounting federal debt.

6 – FIGHTING GLOBAL EXTREMISTS – Standing strong against radical regimes who seek to criminalize gays and lesbians.

7 – DEFENDING OUR CONSTITUTION – Opposing any anti-gay federal marriage amendment.

8 – ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP – Package of free market reforms to encourage and support small businesses and entrepreneurship in the gay community.

9 – REVITALIZING OUR COMMUNITIES – A package of urban related reforms; expanding historic tax preservation credits; support for school choice. [Hmm...homosexuals like to congregate in "old town" part of cities...]

10 – DEFENDING OUR COMMUNITY – Protecting 2nd amendment rights.

90% of their agenda is the homosexual agenda. Everyone with eyes and a brain and not biased towards the homosexual agenda sees this. Apparently you (pretend?) don't see it. Only reason is you think this stuff is good.

It’s not my list, it’s GOProud’s list that is supposedly conservative.

I posted a link up thread and some lefitst fool asserted it was 70% conservative. So I just bolded and underlined the parts that are homosexual agenda crap.

If you don’t like the list, take it up with the homosexual “conservatives”, they wrote it.

Oh, since the article is about the GOProud convention, and they call themselves conservatives, I think that their stated legislative agenda is somehow germane to the discussion.

I haven’t changed one bit. Maybe the better question is how FR can turn stalwart allies into critics.

fairly certain all significant religions hold homosexual behavior as a sin.
