I'm a conservative first and foremost. The Tea Party is mixed and I don't care about their social agenda one way or another. My opinions aren't based on the Tea Party. But gays politics ARE based on their sexual preferences. They are homosexual first and foremost. Their sexual habits are how they define themselves and their politics.
Terrific. Unfortunately, conservatives are a minority portion of the country, and social conservatives are an even smaller portion of the country - just like liberals are a minority portion. Liberals married themselves to moderates in the last two elections, and now enjoy an overwhelming majority because of it. What was the net result? Not a moderate governing majority, but far left majority to be sure.
Until such a time that Republicans can get a comfortable majority in the House, and 60 votes in the Senate, they can take all the help they can get. It's not about social conservatism, it's about math.
I’d rather deal with regular open homosexual activists than these fakers.

FR is a conservative site. We do not appreciate our members fighting against us on our conservative values and issues.
