Must be the reason the GOP is so screwed up. Their substance has been lacking.
The GOP needs a consistant message. Unfortunatley they all work against each other.
Common sense is actually doing the reasonable thing that comes instinctually to most people.
It is becoming extinct.
I never said she was masking anything, you did.
Do you think she is masking something like GWB?
“Common sense is actually doing the reasonable thing that comes instinctually to most people. It is becoming extinct.”
Not quite. The mama grizzlies are bringing it back.
How is asking a legitimate question an “anti-Palin post”?
Thank you for honoring my thread with your comment.
I feel what I have to say is that important. Many, many voters of Tn. 08 hope to goodness that Sarah does not endorse the congressional candidate the NRCC has chosen to support and fund. His name is Stephen Fincher. He voted in a democratic primary as late as May 10. His voting record shows he has an 80% record of voting democrat. The NRCC did not do their homework on this guy it turns out. He also has taken over 3 million in farm subsidies over the years. He has the backing of all the farmers around here. He looked good on paper, but now Im sure they wish they had not chosen him. Its too late now, and they are still going to try to push him through to save face.
Sometimes you get dealt a bad hand. Maybe they were trying to make the best of a bad situation?
A number of times, Rick Perry over Senator Hutchinson for one, Joe Miller instead of Senator Lisa Murkowski for another off the top off my head.
“Do you think she is masking something like GWB?”
Why don’t we turn to common sense for the answer.
In the 2000 presidential campaign, there was a feeling (hmmm, wonder what to call it) amongst conservatives that Bush was pretty good but something significant seemed to be lacking.
In other words, our common sense told us we didn’t have a Ronald Reagan.
But in 2010 (and 12), common sense has better news for us. Get my drift?
Palin is educating the masses who need to be taught/shown what ‘common sense’ is. Of course, they will be more interested in the word ‘is’ but I’m sure some are getting it.
Time will tell. Much will transpire over the next two years.
Much we cannot know yet.
Common sense tells me that.
She endorsed Rick Perry over Kay Bailey Hutchison in TX and she has endorsed Joe Miller over Lisa Murkowski in Alaska, to name two.
In the case of Tn. 08, the NRCC has hand-picked a candidate for John Tanner’s seat. He has never been involved in Republican politics. His voting record is 80% democrat. I just hope Sarah doesn’t take the advice of the NRCC. We have 2 other candidates who are very conservative and Republican.
True. The future is unknown to my feeble mind.
That’s where we need to trust in the Good Lord.
Debbie Schlussel is a nut case, she is not a source for anything.
I think we can expect more of this.
Expect people to lose focus and zero in on the acute things which really don’t mean much in the big picture.
While I might not vote for her if she runs, Palin is one of the few people out there who atually seems to give a damn. She’s waking people up despite a Pravda like media.
My wife and I don’t even agree on everyone. If we did it would be on scarey household.
I don't know. I posted the story because of the back of the hand to Palin.
What does it mean with 'real' conservative? Do you think Freepers have same idea of what it means?
Here’s a thought: If Sarah Palin endorses somebody you’re running against, or somebody who’s running against whoever you’re supporting, try not to react as if your hemorrhoids are flaring up. It really is unbecoming.
She also endorsed the third party Doug Hoffman over the republican woman Dede Scozzafava.
Probably not.
Some worry more about fiscal issues, some focus on social issues, some are just republicans.
Some are like me with a sick hubby I have to tend to now.
Night night
Thanks for giving us advice on whom to vote for based on the advice of screwball Debbie Schlussel. No thanks.
Go Kelly!
