Karim Boudouda
Which tells you these rioters may be youths in France, but are almost certainly not French youths.

The rioting started after a memorial service for 27-year-old
Karim Boudouda, who died 24 hours earlier
More migrating Amish I guess....

Back in the 60's and 70's the media referred to these "youths" as "students".
The more things change ....

Karim Boudouda. Hmmmm...France: read your own nation’s history. Google “Charles Martel”, and act now.

I can’t believe it. I went to school for a while in Grenoble, and it was a proud and somewhat snobby city with very few foreigners when I lived there. Plenty of skiing tourists. How it has changed.
Reading about it here (French article) http://www.la-croix.com/article/index.jsp?docId=2432857&rubId=4076
I see that for a while, in the environs of Grenoble, people have been tortured and beat up for their bank cards, attacked for refusing to give a “Youth” a cigarette, or simply being attacked for being handicapped. Deaths due to a violent drug trade, and one 70-year-old killed for his wallet.
They say this type of thing has migrated from Paris and Lyon to virtually every city in the country. They mention the “very young youths” as being the cause, and the fact that they seem to live “segregated” by space and culture from the rest of France, but there must be some kind of unbreakable journalistic creed to disallow reporters from saying the M-word.
