They attached a cable and raised the Choke topside. Skandi 2 shows the 3 Stack Ram with no Choke now. Boa Deep Sea 1 is I think looking at the attachment point for the choke assembly.

Interesting. According to the latest Oil Drum posts, they are not going to use the new 3 Stack Ram to Shut in the Well. They are only going for the test. Then they will go for containment of the spill with a new riser assembly. May try to Shut in the Well only temporarily if they have to disconnect for a Hurricane.

Looks like they just brought down a new Choke Assembly. This one has multiple colors. Black lower canister. Silver piping. And yellow box. Could start the tests again later tonight.

Actually a silver white lower canister and black piping with yellow box on the new Choke assembly. Installing new Choke now.

I must not have the right ROV up...looking at Skandi Neptune 2 and I see stuff dangling.

Boa Deep C2 is holding it. Boa Deep C 1 was looking at it from the bottom. Skandi 2 has the overall.

Obviuosly at this writing we now know they did the repair and now have all valves closed so that the total pressure test can be performed. But yes. It appears over the past two days or so those ROV videos where getting pretty screwy at best.
Nice to see no leakage occuring in the system.
