Remember Scott Brown sits in Kennedy's district. He is certainly not representative of the whole party, the vast majority of which is voting against this bill. I think what's infuriating and fatal is that he's representative enough to make the majority of the party voting against the bill impotent.

While it isn't perfect, I expect to support the bill when it comes up for a vote... It includes safeguards to help prevent another financial meltdown, ensures that consumers are protected, and it is paid for without new taxes. yeah, Santa Claus pays for it!?! They bought him, or??

That's what will always happen when you only have 41 votes in the Senate.
A few will always make the difference. But at least the Dems can't pass whatever they want because we got that extra 41st vote. If would be much deadlier if we only had 39.
If Repub numbers go up in the Senate, that handful in the Northeast will not have nearly as much weight.

Where’s all the Beck bashers now? Brown hasn’t made ONE dent in the Obama agenda. We still got Obamacare... and now this.

Hey let’s not get to down on our selves. We need to do is look forward. Support the Senators now running for office in NV,MO,FL,WI,PA,WACO,OH,IL.et.al;If we can take the Senate and the House in Nov.( it’s possible) start to get rid of some of these lousy bills that have been passed, maybe defund them, put pressure on the O. Perhaps nothing can be done about Scott Brown at this time, and we only can do what we think is best at the time. I think most of us thought Brown would be better than Coakley, still do, a little.

Scott Brown - touted as a possible Presidential nominee right on these very pages. Yep, he’s possibly a better senator than the alternative.
We have a “republican” senate candidate here in Illinois who is no better than the rat nominee and very possibly worse. His name is Mark Kirk and he is more liberal on every issue than most democrats. He will never get my vote.
We have a conservative option who is trying to get on the ballot and I will vote for him if he makes it. I will vote for him or not at all in that race.

From the looks of things not one Republican is going to fight 0Care.
They’re crawling back into their holes and sucking their thumbs.
