Normally I’d be overjoyed about this kind of thing, but I’ve seen it go wrong too many times before (think Hayworth). I predict that within a few days this guy will be grovelling and saying that he was misunderstood and he believes 100% that the tribesman-in-chief was born in Hawaii.

Buy we have been told by Obots and antibirthers here on FR that is a losing issue for any of the Republican candidates to take hold off, it's a " fringe " issue,,, Sarcasm....

It passed their house, but not their cowardly Senate. Plus, the left was going bonkers about the time it hit the senate floor and the immigration thing (coincidentally?) started getting national interest and heating up.

I didn’t know that. Can you provide a link or some proof?

Nice blog, but it is very speculative. First, Obama hasn’t even released a certified short form. The one on the web wasn’t posted by him, thus, the claims of it being doctored. Second, Missouri could require long form and just have the candidate bring his/her actual copy of a BC with the foot prints, hostpital and medical personal signatures.

Nice blog, but it is very speculative.

What is speculative about it? Nothing speculative about the wording of HJR34; it specifically excluded anything but long form birth certificates. Nothing speculative about HJR34 being withdrawn; a Google search will confirm that. Nothing speculative about Missouri only issuing COLBs; the state government will confirm that. It was a rather poorly thought out stunt by some of the legislature's less-than-bright lights who should have done a little homework ahead of time.

Second, Missouri could require long form and just have the candidate bring his/her actual copy of a BC with the foot prints, hostpital and medical personal signatures.

So long as the candidate isn't from Missouri that might work. But I'd hate to think that the state would exclude it's own people from running for president.

There was an article in the Canada Free Press that said all the networks were threatened by Bam and associates. Remember he had lawyers threatening networks during the campaign. Now he owns the FCC. And too there are terrible accidents that happen. I believe the article.

A natural born citizen is the manner how someone was born, the term is not confined to the location. Born to citizen parents.

We want to see the birth certificate to determine the citizenship of the father.

That is the primary reason Obama is thwarting its release.

Thanks FReeper Friend. I do understand. By US Code in effect at the time of his birth he does not qualify as a natural born citizen. The birth certificate, or lack thereof, will prove the case one way or the other. BHO is an illegitimate president and that is why the left has sealed all his records and spends what must now be close to a million dollars to prevent a court ordering the release of his birth certificate. Birthers, like myself, used to be ridiculed on FR for our position. Now even folks in the general population smell a rat and are coming to see things our way. ;D)
