There is no hope for Europe. There is no hope for America. The whole world WILL turn against Israel and Christ WILL return to wipe the world clean. Thankfully, I will be in white with him in the clean up and miss the 7 years of hell on earth which precede it. The only question is, how bad does it get before then and what can be done to mitigate it. But it is coming and this is going to get really really bad, really really soon.
This is the positions of false prophets who denigrate the goodness and power of Christ. So spoke the ten faithless spy, who turned up their noses at God's mercies, and held His mighty deeds in contempt. In the days of Joshua and Moses, God immediately slew the ten unbelieving spies -- but the myriads of Israel all died, wandering pointlessly in the desert, devoid of hope. (except for Caleb and Joshua).
Today's faithless seers were caught flat-footed by the end of the Soviet Union. They had nothing to say about the handful of Chinese Christians who, since 1945, have increased to nearly 100 million. These lunatics are so obsessed with shilling for Satan that they are blind to God's mighty and gracious works around the world.
Been there done that got the tee shirt. The traffic only seems to be moving in one direction. The doomsayers and fortune tellers are aging out. Today's faithful Christians are increasingly embracing a more faithful eschatology, postmillennialism. We would rather cheer for Jesus than for the other team.
Many of England’s Jewish people have moved to Israel.
I suspect the same holds true for France.
But then, that was before the muslim in our White House declared a fatwa on Israel.
Where the Jewish people will find a safe haven is a mystery at this point.
My Jewish in-laws moved to England right after the last election. Their kids hate it over there.
Can I hazard a guess that you do not apply a literal translation to the bible and by chance believe that it is our duty as Christians to MAKE GODS KINGDOM here on Earth and that America and Brittan are the “LOST” tribes or Israel and that Modern Israel has little to do with prophesy? Any of that in your belief structure?
Where is exactly spelled out. The city of Petra in Jordan. WHEN is the only slightly less clear question remaining. But it’s about the middle of the 7 years of tribulation.
It is EASY to see how and why the “whole world” will turn against Jerusalem when you imagine a world without America, and all the other nations overrun by Islam. It is our Western Centric vain imagination that can see nothing but “Star Trek” in our future, even as we change NASA to a Muslim Outreach group and cancel all space exploration. One simple look at demographics tells the tale. Less of us, more of them. The time of the gentiles is nearly done. Time for Abraham’s bastards to run things for a few years.
Dispensationalism is the new kid on the block, and has serious disagreements with historic Christianity. In fact, some dispensationalists (like John Hagee) proclaim that genes trump Jesus, and people of at least one ethnic group find salvation outside of Christ.
I have run out of patience with "Christians" who eagerly volunteer to serve as unpaid cheerleaders for the other team. I fear for my nation when I see these yahoos are still being listened to. There were three global adversaries of the gospel when I was young, living under the shadow of The Bomb. God took down one a few years ago -- and the imbeciles who are religiously committed to the cause of antichrist refused to give Him glory. If I were God, I'd be irritated enough to put Islam on the back burner, and turn my chastening hand upon secular humanism, America's state church, first.
I challenge you to offer ONE good fruit of the "fortune=telling" focus of dispensationalism. Just one. I can point out thousands of lives, callings, and families that were blighted by the lust for prognostication. Hal Lindsy, the poster boy for the fortune-telling cause, is on marriage number 4 at last count -- he recycles books and wives as each is overtaken by time.
Wise Christians home-school their kids, thus undermining secular humanism. Wise Christians evangelize Muslims, thus undermining the other global adversary. The future belongs to the Calebs and Joshuas who are willing to trust God for victory, and serve Him with the expectation that His Person, Spirit, Word, and power equip us to overcome. Not just watch.

Excellent article. Also has many excellent embedded links.
Where do you get the idea that Jews vote disproportionately for Labour in the UK?
And a pretty good comments thread too.
Hate ta say it, but it looks like China, India, and Brazil will be the ones to colonize Europe and America after we surrender to Islam. They’ll be the ones to bring the light of reason back into our lands.
Personally, I’m hoping India gets to America before China or Brazil. At least they have a reflection of Western culture, a legacy granted to them from the time of British rule.
Post millennialism and faithful do not belong in the same sentence. But, that word does tell me you think and therefore plan that things are going to get better and better and your decedents will be freer and closer to god in each generation. And that is not ever how god has worked.
It is commonly reported, e.g.:
Throwing in the towel ahead of time is not the act of a faithful, faith-filled, and wise Christian. Those who concede the game to the other team are not motivated to "attempt great things for God; expect great things from God."[1]
Two hundred years ago, it was considered normal for white Christians to own black Christians. Two hundred years from now, our descendants will wonder how we ever, as a church, tolerated the fortune-tellers, doomsayers, and enemies of Christian faithfulness and fortitude.
It is commonly reported among home school parents (95% of whose children either "agree with" or "strongly agree with" the faith of their parents) that our children are growing up saner, more wholesome, happier, and closer to God than we were as young adults. They have the advantage of being raised in one faith, rather than two. More of them than you might expect are also growing up post-mil. They do not see the gospel as an invitation to cower with the losing team, awaiting inevitable disaster.
Here's a question for you. The vast majority of evangelical young people leave the church soon after leaving home. I've seen Barna surveys that place this number as high as 90%. True, most were raised to view secular humanism as the normative religious framework for life and thought. But I have to wonder -- how many also were repelled from the gospel by the simpering wimpiness of the pre-mil position?
I think, perhaps, these words suggest some of the anguish behind your fervor. In theory, usually, and most of the time, something needs to work at home before we try to export it. So, curious minds might wonder -- how excited are your children by your version of the gospel? Do you see them growing up to embrace callings as diverse, and rewarding, as the lively imagination of God can make them? Do those who share your perspective report that their marriage bed is a place of bliss and refreshment for decade after decade? Hal Lindsey discarded his first 3 wives. Evangelicals are suddenly terrified by the loss of so many of their own children.
Perhaps, the denigration of the future has real-world present consequences ... I can testify from experience -- a rotten, perverted eschatology can very quickly create alienation in one's family that takes decades to overcome. But there is hope, for those who have not renounced hope.
ANYHOW: it's time for me to go back to bed, and I will invest some time in asking God to bless your house, and to let you see His favor resting upon your family.
200 years from now, we will be about 100+ years into the Millennium Kingdom and NOTHING we discussed on Free Republic will matter.
Now, as to the other points: Throwing in the towel? As opposed to what? Nuking all 1 billion towelheads before they set off the EMP over America?
95% of homeschooled.... I don’t even know where to begin. The “other team”? What you can’t say SATAN the Prince and Ruler of this world with total dominion? Even Jesus did not deny his claims. Satan said “All these kingdoms I will give unto you if...” remember? And Jesus did not say “These are mine buddy, back off”. Nope. They and this and 95% of this world belongs to Satan and is LOST to Satan and will be in HELL with Satan. Now, a few very sincere but gravely mistaken Christians will miss out on the barbecue and get raptured anyway, but then, God is not as concerned about doctrine as he is Salvation by grace.
Your final question is moot and so far off the mark as to be ludicrous. 90% leave the church? Maybe. But ZERO leave salvation. Church is a political or social construct of religious idolatry. None leave the fellowship. None lose salvation. If any one “acted” like a Christian but then falls into your 90% fuzzy math, they were obviously never saved or Christian to begin with. Tho, for the record, your math sucks and it is not even close to relevant for any further discussion.
But all this other nonsense aside. Are you a Jew? Are you subject to the law? Are you claiming to be an heir or recipient of the covenant given to Abraham? Are you part of some lost tribe? Any of THAT nonsense apply to you or do you outright reject it all as apostasy?
I’ll close with this: Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
The International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists held a conference here this week. The topic: Democratic and Legal Norms in an Age of Terror. Panels discussed everything from the Goldstone Report, to the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement, to "universal jurisdiction" (lawfare against Israelis brought in foreign courts). Here, in the Khalili Lecture Theatre of the SOAS (School for Oriental and African Studies), Jewish lawyers discussed a grim reality whose only public appearance on an everyday basis is the drumbeat of calumny that a boisterous elite -- NGOs, journalists, academics -- rain down on Israel.
