Mr. Grant was not shot in the head, but in the lower back - and he actually would have survived the initial bullet wound, according to testimony, if the round had not ricocheted off the poured concrete beneath Grant into his lung. I have a problem with a slug going through the lower back all the way to the poured concrete and then bouncing up at a pretty steep angle with enough velocity and to kill someone, not saying it didn't happen though.
The autopsy should have been able to prove it of course.
