Strange. I’ve had repeated calls and notes, but have only had a face-to-face with a census worker yesterday. Wanted to “go over my answers to assess overall accuracy rate”. When informed that my answers were correct, he glared at me and propped my door open with his foot. I politely but firmly informed him multiple times we were done with the conversation, and he finally left.
Whoa...had any of these thugs tried that here, I would be typing this response from the county jail!!! He used thug tactics and his actions were of a threatening nature. According to the local supervisor here, they are trained to leave the property when requested.
You need to call the Census Bureau and lodge a formal complaint.

This is the time we need to make a stand -- not simply allow this unconstitutional harassment to go on without complaint. Please call and tell them you are choosing to file a formal complaint.
Thank you so much for posting this. I gave me the perfect reference to deal with the census lady that just came to my door. Same old story...we sent the form, they claim they didn’t get it.
I went to the door and my big loud dogs made any request to come into my home a moot point. So she started asking questions through the door. I said two people live here and that is the only question I will answer and then I walked to back of the house with two dogs to make sure she didn’t come in the gates. Well guess what? The dog I left at the front door started barking ....this pest was pounding on my front door again.
That is where the FR training came in handy. Turns out she only wanted to verify the street address (right above her head) and ask to come out back to see my guest house (which I do not have). I gave her my best stink eye and said NOW YOU ARE TRESPASSING, you are unwelcome on this property ...LEAVE! Lucky me, I guess I have only five more visits to anticipate. This thread was a wealth of information in dealing with these government gnats. Thanks again for posting.
The Military is women breeding like flies out of wedlock and now homosexuals . They all want free stuff like $200,000 college educations paid for by my grand kids. Many need to get a real jobs. They are not drafted. They join and when they join their lives are forfeit.Yes they suck real bad.— They need to come home and fight illegals on the border. Then they might get respect.
